I wouldn't bet on that. Somewhere around here one of the devs were saying that the system reqs for DL will be higher than PL or SL.

We haven't announced specific requirements of the game. However, I can say that the art team is turning out some awesome looking stuff that will likely need some good horsepower to run. I don't know that the iPad1 is one of the devices we currently support that might not have enough horsepower. I think devices that fall in the "lack of horsepower" camp are old 2nd generation iPhones and iPod touches, for example.

Just an idea, but is it possible to release the full game but only allow access to certain players with the "beta key?" This would give IOS players the ability to access the game early also.

I think the issue is with Apple and their beta app rules.

To counteract apples beta rules, WoM is doing an open beta by releasing it as an actual app under a different name. But being that they've had a handful of betas already and DL will have just this one, I don't think it's the safest way to go about it. Looks like its going to be just for droids. Maybe they'll do a chrome open beta? I doubt it though..

That was sort of my point...release the full game for IOS but still somehow make it beta.

But my point is that World of Midgard is on its 3rd beta, with the fourth secretly being on the apple app store. With all those betas the game should be polished enough to get away with it. DL won't have as many betas, so releasing a beta secretly in the app store isn't favorable. Just wait it out man.
