Cool *updated* PvP Guide: L32 hybrid Warbird on example Pleasedontcry

    PvP Guide - L32 Warbird

Hi there, it's Apostel here. In this thread I would like to introduce my little Warbird to our community. After testing many builds and after skill-adjusting for months ad months I am goin to share my experience with you. It's just my part I of helping the community grow and you can even look at it as a kind of quality assurance for PvP.

Now with: forgotten items extension & how-to-fight vs. ranger- and paladin-class

Aso you can see, my favourite gear consists of:

    - L25 Vyxnaar Helm of Legends, 82 Str. (yes, I use the Legends-version because I am a fan of high armor point)
    - L32 "Green Ice" Iceberg Froze Longsword, 100 Str. (people with a low income feel free to use a L30 Iceberg Frozen Longsword, 93 Str.)
    - L30 Iceberg Frozen Knightplate, 94 Str.

Adding more loadouts with alot of gear examples shortly

    C. Combos-combos-
Notice: You may have noticed already, that this build is not relaying on bird-screams. This is for the most important reason: speed. the faster you kill, the healthier you return from a fight and go on for the next fight.

The bacis combo is following: Buffs (of c. ), Break Armor+Thorn Root+Blast Shot, Repulse Shot (for retrieving from close combat).
The next important thing is, learn your range! It is essentially that you commit how far 12meter ingame-range is to your memory(thats the distance a bird can hit with its Arrow-Skills). Most fights are lost before they started, just because one of the fighters has wasted his/her skills out of range.

    when fighting Str-Bears such as Iceberg/Copperhead Sets/*Platinum 4-Packs:

Your goal must be avoiding close combat on every price! Try to keep a big distance between you and the bear. Once the bear enters your 12m actiorange, use Repulse Shot+Break Armor really fast as the bear uses hit Pull to force you into close combat. In the most situations the bear uses a Pull-Hellscream-Combo so actually we avoided Hellscream. After pushed him back and reduced his armor, use Thorn Roots+Blast Shot quick to block his movement and deal combo-damage to him. Repeat this one more time and the bear will loose.

when fighting Dex-Bears such as Shivering/Shivering+Copperhead Sets/*Forgotten Bows:

This is a bit more tricky. One of the biggest problems are the high DPS that a talon-or bow-using bear can get. Use the same tactic as shown above and avoid close combat in the first two attack waves. Always check whether the bear's RAGE-Buff is on or not. If you are close enough to rush the bear while his buff is reloading, you are on the lucky side of the match. Basically use your greater range to win this fight: 12meter Avian Arrows/13meter chunker>8meter talon /10m bow range. When it happens that the bear debuffs you with the blindproc of the forgotten bow, get out of the fight and attack again when the stars over your head vanish.

when fighting Dex-Birds such as any Talon/Bow/Xbow User/*Forgotten bows:

Basic combo. You have the higher skill dmg that your longsword provides and the higher weapon deamage. Charge as fast as you can to te birds direction, when entering the action radius, fire your combo. Usually every bird looses this duel. It hapens that Talon-Wing user survive this from time to time, just keep attacking them with Auto-Attack while waiting for the cooldown of your skills.

Forgotten birds are different. They usually blind first, what means you start with repulse and kite them on max range. When you see them miss blind, go all in using break>roots>blast>autoattack and finish them with repulse (if not dead yet). Never go into a fight when you see stars over your head blinking. The double hit debuff always leads in most of the fights to a loss.

when fighting Str-Birds such as any of us:

Two possible ways to win this match. First one is to storm the front and fireing the basic combo as fast as you can and stay in close combat. These fights are usually quick over. The second one is to avoid close combat and to keep a distance of 10-12meters to your oppnent. It works this way, that when your opponent is charging at you, you fire Repulse Shot when he enters 12m range. run for few steps away from him while using that skill. Once you see your opponent wasting his skills because you pushed him succesfully out of range, run quick back and and use Break Armor-Thorn Roots-Blastshot and auto Attack to finish him off.

when fighting for the bird worst opponent - mages:

It is essential to get as closed as you can to the mage, because we want to hit them with auto-attack too, as we need every bit of damage we can produce this fight. If you see a mage charging at you and wlling to enter close combat: WOOOP WOOP! once she is in 4-6m range, hit the basic combo as fast as you can. Usually Evade saves you from death by dodge, but dont waste to much time waiting her to enter your close combat. If you see her popping up Mana Shield right after Buffs, use 2 combos: 1. Blastshot (to kill Mana Shield)+Thorn Roots+Break Armor+Repulse Shot and try to reach close combat. 2. If she is still alive (and you of course too lol,big "if" haha) the use as second wave the basic combo. This usually knocks her out. But as I have experienced alot of fights vs mages, Try to Avoid Voodoos at every Price! An experienced Warbird User can beat a Voodoomage at max 5 to 10. They just use anabolic substances...

When fighting forgotten items mages, you have to figure out whether they are an early mana shield user or not.
Early ms user combo: blast>repulse (at max range, kite and pray for your dodge) - when blast cool down ready, rush in break>roots>blast>repulse
Late ms user combo: break>blast>repulse+kite and prey for dodge (all that at max range) then they usually hit ms. Rush in with blast>break>roots>autoattack+repulse

    New class addon:

Fox: This class is not that hard to win against. You have to keep them at distance with repulse for the first 3 seconds of a fight. Thats the usual timer you have to know til their 3 second dodge buff runs out. in the next 2 seconds they are an easy nuke victim (break>roots>blast>repulse). You might have to repeat this once again for Fox-sword-shield user since they can survive more then 1 attack wave of yours.

Rhino: Their damage output is low but their tanking skills are amazing. If you cant win in the first 15 seconds of a fight by nukeing them (which is not that hard, too) you have lost usually. They will regen and kill (even with autoattacks). Big hint is to avaoid close combat for the first 5 seconds when they will try to cast their combo on you.
[CENTER]So far, at this point I apologize for my bad english as you will find some mistakes for sure..
but I hope you enjoyed reading through this and maybe we will face us in PvP! Good Luck!
