renaming bug

Hello dear devs,
I renamed my bird from uiflisahan to wvhills. It shows up as wvhills in convos and in my maps but when I click on my friends list and the click the guild tab it still has me as uiflisahan (it shows me as online though).

This does sound very strange. I think this is like what happened to me. If you level, and go to log off screen, go "change character", it still says you were the level you were before. If you switch to another char, and switch back again, it might show you as your new name, or you could log off and log back in.

If relogin doesn't make it look normal give it couple hours and it should get updated.

I had this same problem. After 2 Weeks it still didn't update. I had to quit and rejoin my guild.

I created a thread about it but never got any response.

did they see you as your old name or new name?
