Awww man this Hate set is so much fun, one of my favorites! I remember other bears wearing this when I was playing my mage & I thought they looked so cool. I love the stance your bear has with the Shadow swords of hate & they way they creep along when they walk! That's my favorite part lmao! It's gonna be hard to put this set away when I level up.
I actually favor all the Shadow cave sets...epic, Mage Shadow Glowstick & Avian Sentinel Shotgun set. I think they are some of the best sets created. I also used the shotgun & made it thru the sewers fast & easy! I was killing them slimes/goblins with the Sentinel shotgun. I'm gonna have to collect the rest of the equipment soon.
Recommend the Shadow/Hate sets for any player coming up. I got mine cheap too @CS $300k for armor, $130k for Swords, & $75k for the helmet. $505,000 is a bargain for how rare the stuff is from the caves & I salute(much respect) those who farm the stuff from the Shadow caves to sell in the market. All the time I was in there, I never dropped any pinks just stacked up deaths!

I love my Hate set. I still wear and even use it at lvl 65 sometimes

My upgrade set that is similar to the Hate shadow sword set. I like the look of the Sanguine Chiroptera fangs with the red glow. Same type of creeping walk that I like in bears. The Sang leather was really expensive tho. The Hate set is still bad-azzz tho I really like the all black look.

They are cool but preferably for me and most people would agree with me that sword and shield is much more balanced.

Balanced for what? Tanking? If so, that could be argued since I tank just fine (if not better than most of the bears out there) using a 2H Orlok Claymore, and I don't die often.

Yeah, but you're very experienced Necro, or let's say you specialised in 2H combat.
Well, would you recommend it to players with less experience?
Their chance of survival is higher with a balanced set until they can handle a bear

I loved my shadow set. Exchanged it for some parts of my fury set

Yeah the shield & weap does give you more armor & balance. I would like the dual swords to do more damage, would be nice. I still prefer them just for looks. Playing with what you like definitely helps when grinding xp or farming like mad.
