Alas! The answer to my question hahaha! Certainly would not have looked at it in any of those ways. I forget too, this game isn't just a start to finish sorta deal it just keeps going and going like that horny lil energizer bunny ;-) its still enjoyable no matter what the cost ya know. thanks for the input gluttony.

Dont know if youve been doing this already, but most games need to be started up and 'played' for just a bit, enough for the game to get contact with the server and so verify your tapjoy credits. Some games even allow you to get additional plat for playing to the next level, and most of those only take a few minutes to reach, even if the game is sublimely silly. In the last month alone I racked up 75 plat (on iphone 4s).

I still don't get the fact that people think that tradable plat would reduce the amount of plat sold. The people who use plat now would need the same amount that they have, and the people who would be willing to spend large amounts of gold for platinum would need someone to buy it for money to sell it to them. I see this as a net increase in the amount of platinum in the system, which needs to come from somewhere. Thus STS gets more money, not less, by making plat tradable.

I was not thinking that items that were plat only would be tradable. Plat would be tradable. People who have access to plat for cash could sell plat for gold. People who can't or are unwilling to spend money for plat could by it from these people. So, you would still need to sink the plat into the item packs, but there would be more people who would be willing to try.

Who knows what the price would be. Right now you can buy gold for plat at an outrageous price, but I am sure the market would find an equilibrium, maybe something around 100 plat for 250000 gold, but the market would set that if it was tradable in cs.

its funny how we spend more money on a free app then a paid app on in-game purchases! and plus they give daily,vanity,antenna,free plat, and more so be glad

I've actually played it, firstly half a second to a minute. If that doesn't work I play for about 5 mins. Enough time in playing?

Should be enough. I have noticed though that sometimes it doesnt work well if other apps are still downloading / updating in the background (I usually do a 'free plat moment' in the weekends, download all the apps in quick succession and then start 'playing' them as they are installed). Just wait for all apps to be fully downloaded and installed, then 'play' them. Also, sometimes, one app 'crashes' and doesnt work, then all subsequent apps no longer add plat either.

What I do is check the free plat apps again. All those that no longer appear in the list have been activated succesfully, so I can delete those. If some apps were run but didnt disappear from the list, I sometimes just restart the phone completely, the run these apps again. Then check the free plat list again, and see if they disappeared now and the plat was added to my account. Generally does the trick..

Too lazy to read through all the posts. Bottom line: Developers need to earn money for their work or else you don't have a game to play. Simple as that.
