in Order and Chaos this WE was double XP. Could level from 29 to 57 in 3 days without any elix^^ woot!

Ya, they should add something like this for weekends or maybe charge 2-10 plat for a weekend to recieve double exp

They did it for PL but the resulting XP curve stayed as a permanent change.
I guess this would work, but some bad things are that people would cap faster and then they wouldn't have anything to do, I think this would be kind of hard to work out.
The ppl who have made it could probably pvp or find ways to make gold?

Hmm. I think 2x experience would be pretty cool. If added every weekend though, it would be almost too easy to level up. Maybe they can add different things in like 1.5x, 2x, and maybe even 3x for different events like holidays and special events. They could even throw in a 24 hour 4x when its someones birthday as a present

Sure they can. But you can only have one birthday, right? It would be once a year regardless.

Instead of every week, it should be more "rare". Like black ops (for the people that have played it). When they released new a dlc, they would have double xp and nuketown 24/7.
Maybe when the new cap comes out?

Quad xp for pl birthday for about a week?
I like the birthday idea a lot!
I played another game that put an XP bonus/accelerator based on the number of consecutive days you play the game. You hit day n and receive a n% XP bonus. It only had like two tiers, but this could be a graduated scale. Maybe you also need to get at least 5 XP per day or something like that, just to make you *do* something aside from just logging in, to keep the counter going up.
With the other game, if you went a whole day without playing - your bonuses are wiped out and you start at day zero again.
