1 lvl higher gives more stat boost?
I came across a player in PVP who said go 1 lvl higher than your set. I said why? He or she said because it gives more of a set boost. Is this true?
More information on the player:
-A lvl 62 bear with orlok set.
-Stats going negative ( about 1000 or so I record from memory).
Sorry, can't give anymore details of him.
Please answer, any statement that suit this topic would be great!

You get 5 pts to put in str, dex, or int. Is that what ur asking?

I sort of understand what you are asking and if so what you were told is not true. The set bonus is SET no matter what level you are. If the bonus is +10 Damage at 61 going to 62 will not make it a +15 damage boost it will remain the same of +10.
Note I used non real set bonus. I hope this helps.

for pvp,players usually go one level or two higher than the gear. this sometimes unlocks a new ability, gives u one more skill allocation point. and 5 extra skill location points.
