Releasing the beta as a full release on IOS would get around the App store beta restrictions if it was finished enough to be approved.

It was technically still a beta. It just lost the Closed Beta title.Beta came out in early July, then by mid August it was available on the Android Market as a non beta app.

Nope. You can't just name a beta. A full release. They go through the apps and would be able to tell it's a beta lol
If apple allowed beta it would be fine but it doesn't so iOS users will have to wait.

Well i just know mid August the title of the game lost its "beta" in the title when the game was loading that's why i said it went to a non beta app.

My gut feeling is there might not be a beta....
If 15th is the release date, which is what they told the people at the show, then the beta would be starting like now.
My guess is an andriod release on or about the 15th then later an iOS release.

If so, then they probably had an internal beta like I said in an earlier post, that way Android players would not get a headstart on IOS players and everyone would be equally happy or disappointed.
