I'm going to go out on a limb here and tell you yes, there will be premium characters available for when you create your character. Of course, I'm not the guy who has to actually implement that feature, so there is the possibility that it might not happen. But, it's probably a safe bet

I hope the 2000 plat option is available when the game releases. I'd go premium if it was. But first.. I'd have to see if I enjoy playing DL.
