Here is my complete Guide on the fundamentals of Player Versus Player Combat in Pocket Legends!

The guide contains the following:

• Examples of gear to use in combat
• Combinations of Skills to engage in amazing combat
• Explanations of Skill Points and Attribute Points
• Recommended classes at each intervals of 5 Levels
• And much more!

Each PvP section will be separated by intervals of 5 levels; the guide will start at level 5 and end at level 65 (until the level cap is raised).

Note : With new class, and new levels, added to my personal work, you may understand it will be hard to get builts for every new class before some times .. So, If you could be sharing your own builts, it would be greatly appreciated !

Important note : About forgotten items.
I don't want to bury all sets and gear that used to be used. However, my built are still working! For most of them, instead of using items I specified, you just have to switch "Weapon and shield" in a "forgotten bow"
For birds and bears, use a purple one for dodge, and for mages, use pink ones.

• First of all, I would like to thank Nick's thread about builds from lvl 5 to 30 who helped me much building up the first part of this guide :-)...

• Secondly, I'll put the recommended classes in RED color, it doesn't mean the others classes at those lvls aren't nice, but that the red colored class owns the most.
• Thirdly, I would like to thank all the PvPers in Pocket Legends, and I wish them lots of fun playing !

Lvl 5-10


Bears :

-Lvl 10 Dex talon bear

• Base points : 52 DEX
• Skills points : 6 Rage, 1 stomp, 1 vengeful slash, 1 super mega slash.
• Items : platinum pack helm, talon. L10 pink sled and expert or artisans armor LvL 5.

-Lvl 10 Dex snowball bear

• Base points : 52 DEX
• Skills points : 6 Rage, 3 stomp
• (kite and wait till you see them stand still to move up and stomp them)
• Items : platinum pack helm, L10 pink snowball launcher, and expert or artisans armor LvL 5.

Mages :

-Lvl 5 Mage (lowlyspy's build)

• Base points : 32 DEX
• Skills points : 3 heal, 1 frost.
• Items : expert/artisan armor, choose a large range bow and kite lol

Birds :

-Lvl 5 Bird : (my build)

• Base points : 32 DEX
• Skills points : 3 blast 2 root
• Items : expert/artisan armor, choose a large range bow and kite
• Combo : root, blast, kite

Lvl 6 Bird

• Base points : 32 DEX
• Skills points : 4 blast 1 root,
• Items : expert/artisan armor, choose a large range bow and kite lol
• Combo : Root when you're close enough (not too close, bears are beast close), and then blast :] Don't forget auto!

LvL10 : (my build)

• Tips : don’t stay close to bears, kite and heal/drain whenever you can!

-Lvl 13 Mage

• Base points : Int/Dex
• Skills points : 6 lightning, 1 ice, 2 drain, 1 heal, 2 fire..
• Items : Jewel dark leather LvL13, toyman wand lvl10/winter candle wand lvl10 , plat pack helm
• Combo : ice, fire, light, drain, heal
• Tips : don’t stay close to bears, kite and heal/drain whenever you can!

-Lvl 16 Mage

• Base points : Int/Dex
• Skills points : 6 fire, 6 drain, 1 frostbite, 1 lightning, 1 heal, 1 mana shield.
• Items : Jewel dark leather LvL13, toyman wand lvl10/winter candle wand lvl10 , plat pack helm
• Combo : frost, fire, drain, light, heal (mana shield when ur gonna die)
• Tips : don’t stay close to bears, kite and heal/drain whenever you can!

Birds :

-Lvl 12 mixed bird

• Base points : Int/Dex
• Skills points : 5 focus, 5 blast shot, 2 root. (1-13 lvl birds don’t work too well)
• Items : Jewel dark leather LvL13, toyman wand lvl10/winter candle wand lvl10 , plat pack helm
• Combo : focus, root blast
• Tips : don’t stay close to bears, kite and heal/drain whenever you can!

-Lvl 16 snowball bird (my build)

• Base points : Full dex
• Skills points : 5 focus, 6 blast shot, 1 shattering, 2 break 1root
• Items : L10 platinum helm, L15 pink snowball, L15 expert, L10 full dex attack ring, (founders if you have it).
• Combo : Focus, root, brake,shatter, blast
• Tips : - don’t stay close to bears, kite and heal/drain whenever you can!
  - When your opponents get rooted send all use arrow like crazy! :

Rhino :


-Lvl 16 Rhino Built! (by OverkillED)

• Base points : 22 Str, Rest Dex
• Skills points : 6 Vital Force, 6 Guardian, 1 Charge, 1 Restore, 1 Redemption
• Items : Level 10 Sniper's Archery Cap (Dex Plat Pack), Level 15 Expert, Level 16 Forgotten, Or Paw
• Combo : Vital Force, Guardian, Charge, Redemption, and Restore when ur hp is decreasing
• Tips : Do not fight level mages level 22 or over! Use Vital -> Guardian -> Charge -> Redemption -> Restore. Rhinos can actually beat birds that use forgotten O.o if they fail to kite you. Mages are easy if they are under 22. Birds are ok to fight-ish. Bears are quite hard actually. You have to be fast to hit with redemption before they stomp or else you'll probably die. You can also use Vital -> Guardian -> Restore right before you go into the fight -> Charge -> Redemption

LvL 18-21



Bears :

-Lvl 19 Dex bear

• Base points : full dex
• Skills points : 6 rage, 6 hell scream, 3 stomp, 2 SmS, 1 iron blood
• Items : L19 assassin helm, L19 Sniper bow pink, expert/artisan L15 armor
• Combo : rage, iron, stomp, SmS
• Tips : Go close to the guy the time he gets hell screamed, then stomp and kite because your bow has a very large range!

-Lvl 21 Dex bear (zerious's build)

• Base points : full dex
• Skills points : 6 rage, 6 hell scream, 6 stomp, 1 SMS, 1 iron blood
• Items : Jewel crystalline 21 set (bow for kiting, or dagger if you prefer playing very close)
• Combo : Rage, iron, hell,stomp, SmS
• Tips : Always be very close of the guy! Especially if you don’t want to miss ur stomp and if u don’t want to be kited !

Mages :

They aren’t very good at lvl21.. I can propose you a build which seems to be good for me, but that I’ve never tested

Lvl 21 mage :

• Base points : full int
• Skills points : 6 might, 3 vitality, 1 mana shield, 4 drain, 3 fire storm, 1 heal, 1 lightning, 1 frostbite
• Items : Sandtone cave items lvl21 (int)
• Combo : might, vitality, frost, drain, fire, light, heal (mana shield when you’re dying)
• Tips : avoid fighting higher lvl than you... It would be a pain lol..

Birds :


LvL18 Bird (D-: Build ):

• Base points : 32 str 5 int rest dex
• Skills points : 6 evade 2 focus 5 break 1 shatter 1 blast 1 root 1 repulse.
• Items : 5 Armsman (forged or crafted is fine.)15 Toyman, 10 snipers helm and shield.
• Combo :
  Vs bird:Evade, focus, break, shatter, blast, root, repulse
  Vs bears: Repulse (to kite stomp) break shatter blast root.
  Vs mages: root (for them to waste a heal on the root to get out) break shatter blast repulse.
• Tips : except if you want a bad KDR, avoid fighting bear lol, keep blast to brake mage mana shields,

Lvl 21 Bird:

• Base points : full dex
• Skills points : 6 focus, 5 break, 6 blast shot, 1 shattering, 1 repulse, 1 root.
• Items : Sandtone cave items lvl21 (dex)
• Combo : focus,root, break shatter blast repulse RUNNNNNNNNNN xD
• Tips : except if you want a bad KDR, avoid fighting bear lol, keep blast to brake mage mana shields,

LvL21 Bird:
They aren`t very good too at this lvl… Here is a build up :

• Base points : full dex
• Skills points : 6 focus, 5 break, 6 blast shot, 1 shattering, 1 repulse, 1 root.
• Items : Sandtone cave items lvl21 (dex)
• Combo : focus,root, break shatter blast repulse RUNNNNNNNNNN xD
• Tips : except if you want a bad KDR, avoid fighting bears, keep blasting to break the mage's mana shield,

Bears :

I don`t know if bears are good at this lvl... That’s the best gear I can offer you :
-Lvl 26 Dex bear

• Base points : full dex
• Skills points : 6 rage, 2 iron blood, 3 stomp, 6 crushing blow, 1 super mega slash, 6 hell scream, 1 beckon.
• Items : Dex sandstone cave sets, using damage ring.
• Combo : rage, iron, beckon, hell, crush, stomp, SmS
• Tips :Make sure your close enough to use crush! If you hit them make sure you have a 90% to win!

Rhino :

Fox:

-Lvl 22 dex fox (Gragorak's build)

• Base points: 20 int, 22 str, rest dex
• Skill points: 6 rage tonic, 6 evasion, 1 fury, 5 hamstring, 1 rabid bite, 1 hypnotize, 1 fox howl
• Items: Lvl 5 crafted armsman, lvl 20 bandit's helm (fox plat pack item) and either lvl 22pink forgotten bow, lvl 20 pink paw & lvl 20 pink shrunken head bracer or lvl 20 pink toyman & lvl 20 pink shrunken head bracer/any lvl 21 ssc wing
• Combo: Rage tonic, fury, evasion, rabid bite, hamstring, hypnotize, howl. Against kiters you need to use hypnotize before rabid bite.
• Tips: Don't use evasion before you have to (at 12m against bears, mages and birds, at 8m against rhinos and foxes), as it lasts only 3 seconds.

Mages :

-Lvl 23 Mage

• Base points : Dex/int mix
• Skills points : 6 might, 4 vitality, 1 mana shield, 4 drain, 4 fire storm, 1 heal, 1 lightning, 1 frostbite
• Items : L23 SSC INT helm, L20 pink candle, L23 crystal wing, L15 alchemist..
• Combo : might, vitality, frost drain, light, fire, heal (mana shield when ur dying)
• Tips : try to use drain fast if you see the guy hitting hard, same for mana shield

-LvL23 Mage build (BirdMasta build)

• Points : 67 dex, rest int
• Items : 21-23 ssc int helm, pink or purp candle lvl 20, a dex ring that gives plus 10 or more damage, pink halloween doll lvl 20, 21-23 ssc int armor
• Skills : 6 vitality, 6 might, 3 drain, 5 light, 1 ice, 1 fire, 1 heal, 1 shield
• Combo : might, vitality, frost drain, light, fire, heal (mana shield when ur dying)
• Tips :
  • Buffs...charge in...if they kite ice first...if they dont kite, charge in and do drain light ice fire
  • if no one dies mana shield and repeat
  • the light does a lot of damage so it should get make the enemy lose mana fast(if their shield is on)

-Lvl 23 Mage

• Base points : Dex/int mix
• Skills points : 6 might, 6 vitality, 1 mana shield, 3 drain, 3 fire storm, 1 heal, 1 lightning, 1 frostbite.
• Items : L23 SSC INT helm, L20 pink candle, L23 crystal wing, L15 alchemist.
• Combo : might, vitality, frost drain, light, fire, heal (mana shield when ur dying)
• Tips : try to use drain fast if u see the guy hits hard, same for mana shield

-Lvl 26 Mage (my official-old secret- build‼ 1800-600 kdr!)

• Base points : 67 int 67 Dex
• Skills points : 6 might, 4 vitality, 1mana shield, 6 drain, 5 fire 1heal, 1 light, 1frost
• Items :.Earthquake Int wand set, hooch hat, Fine golden Band of Lite
• Combo : might, vitality, frost, drain, light, fire, heal (mana shield when ur dying)
• Tips : try to use drain fast if u see the guy hits hard, same for mana shield

-Lvl 26 Tank Mage

• Base points : 67dex, rest int =)
• Skills points : 6 might, 6 vitality, 3 drain, 1 fire, 3 mana shield, 1 ice, 4 lightning, 1 heal.
• Items : Earthquake Int wand set, hooch hat, Fine golden Band of Lite
• Combo : might, vitality, frost, drain, light, fire, heal (mana shield when ur dying)
• Tips : only use your mana shield when you're going to die

Birds :

-Lvl 26 War bird

• Base points : Str dex
• Skills points : 6 focus, 6 evasion, 5 break, 4 blast shot, 1 shattering, 1 repulse, 1 blinding 1 root
• Items :.Onyx sword set, dodging ring with damage
• Combo : focus, evasion, root shatter break blast blind repulse

• Combo :Rage iron beckon hell, crush, stomp slashes
• Tips : use the beckon to become very close for the opponent !

-Lvl 30 Dex bear, another build.

• Base points : full dex
• Skills points : 6 rage, 6 iron blood, 6 hell scream, 4 beckon, 6 stomp, 2 sms.
• Items :. Shivering Ice talon set Or shivering autobow set
• Combo :Rage, Iron, beckon, hell, stomp, SmS
• Tips : use the beckon to become very close for the opponent !

Lvl 30 bear (LookBehingYou build)

• Points : 115 str, rest Dex
• Skills :6 rage, 6 evade, 6 SMS, 6 crippling slash, 3 stomp, 2 beckon
• Items : Lvl 25 onyx helm, Iceberg longsword, Iceberg plate.
• Tips : use the beckon to become very close for the opponent !

Mages :

-Lvl 30 Mage (Imreallyabear's build)

• Base points : str/dex/int
• Skills points : 6 might, 6 vitality, 6 drain, 6 fire, 1 mana shield, 1 frostbite, 1 lightning, 1 heal, 1icestorm
• Items :. iceberg/shivering/brainfreeze. I've seen all of them used on L30 mages.
• Combo :might, vitality, frost, drain fire light heal (mana when ur dying and icestorm when ur close)
• Tips :
  - If u use auto bow, freeze the guy and stay far away autoing..
  - If u use str sword, be close and keep attacking.

-Lvl 30 Mage (Gellio's build)

• Base points : dex str int
• Skills points : 6 vitality, 6 might, 1 mana shield, 2 heal, 1 frost, 5 drain, 5 light, 4 fire.
• Items :. iceberg/shivering/brainfreeze. I've seen all of them used on L30 mages.
• Combo :might, vitality, frost, drain fire light heal (mana when ur dying and icestorm when ur close)
• Tips : - If u use auto bow, freeze the guy and stay far away autoing..
  - If u use str sword, be close and keep attacking.
  - do not fight voodoo mages and 37 and up birds if u want a decent kdr
  - kite bears (ofc) and then follow the "how to fight" part of this guide
  - dex mage vs int mage lvl 30-31 u should b able to win this if u follow the "how to fight" part
  - can be used for kiting just not great at it
  - use fire first against birds and bears
  - shield will go up earlier than usual when fighting birds

LvL30 mage (another 5:1 kdr)

• Base points : -94 dex-rest int
• Skills points : -6 vitality-6 might-3 drain-4 fire-6 light-3 heal -1 shield-1 frost
• Items :. -dreamer onyx helm lvl 25 or any other 25 int helm pink-shivering talon-shivering armor-shivering wing, golden band of technique lvl 20
• Combo : might, vitality, frost, drain fire light heal (mana when ur dying and icestorm when ur close)
• Tips :
  - If u use auto bow, freeze the guy and stay far away autoing..
  - If u use str sword, be close and keep attacking.
  - do not fight voodoo mages and 37 and up birds if u want a decent kdr
  - kite bears (ofc) and then follow the "how to fight" part of this guide

• Base points : 100 Dex, rest INT
• Skills points : 6 Bless of Vitality, 4 Bless of Might, 5 fire, 4 drain, 4 lightning, 5 heal, 1 frost.
• Items :. Level 31 Snipers Dead Eye Derby, Shivering Frozen Yeti Leather, Forgotten bow/ or Monkey Paw with Gruesome bracer As for the ring, Champions Fine Golden Band (2% crit with 10 damage).
• Combo : might, vitality, frost, drain fire light heal (mana when ur dying and icestorm when ur close)
• Tips :
  When fighting other mages use fire first to debuff them then hit them with drain>ice>light
  When fighting bears ALWAYS mana shield if they are buffed, the drain>fire>light
  PREMIUM TIP!: ALWAYS keep a level 25 Dreamers crystalline wand set on hand! If you are low on mana then just put it on and it will give you huge mana regen!

Birds :

-Lvl 30 War bird

• Base points : -str dex mix.
• Skills points : 6 focus, 6 evasion, 6 break, 6 blast shot, 3 shattering, 1 repulse, 1 blinding shot.
• Items : Iceberg longsword, frost king plate, and highest level pink helm you can find and wear.
• Combo : focus, evasion, break shatter blast repulse blind runnnnnn
• Tips : if ur close enough don’t forget to put ur auto on !

-Lvl 32 War bird

• Base points : - str dex mix.
• Skills points : 6 focus, 6 evasion, 4 break, 6 blast shot, 4 shattering, 1 repulse, 1 blinding shot, 1 root.
• Items :. – Green Iceberg longsword, frost king plate, and highest level pink helm you can find and wear.
• Combo : focus, evasion, break shatter blast repulse blind runnnnnn
• Tips : if ur close enough don’t forget to put ur auto on !

Fox:

-Lvl 30 Fox! (Griffinfan's built)

• Base points : 50 STR (for str gear) Rest Dex
• Skills points : 1 Rabid Bite, 1 Vixen Kick, 1 Fury, 1 Hamstring, 5 Fox Howl, 1 Bandage, 6 Evasion, 1 Hypnotize, 6 armor Shredder, 6 Rage Tonic.

• Tips : -ur regen will be bad but forget about that.
  -if u want regen go with thoth armor and helm (but all dex)

Bears

-Lvl 40 Str Dex bear ( xsabrex build/gear)

• Base points : Str-rest of whats left, Dex-96, Int-2
• Skills points : 6 rage, 6 evade, 6 taunt, 5 beckon, 6 hell scream, 6 crushing blow, 1 on each slash and 1 on stomp
• Items : Helm- level 40 plat helm for bear, Armor-Copperbear scale plate or armsman lvl 15, Shield- Iceberg/coppershield/ or what i use is black cat shield lvl 35 for extra dodge, Weapon-Lvl 35 or 40 reaper blade highly recommended. if you cannot afford than use a plat pack sword level 30 or 40
• Combo : .First make sure you buff and use taunt twice before engaging in battle. after you have buffed up, try using beckon and if you are successful use hell scream then crushing blow, stomp vengeful slash, super mega slash, and crippling slash. always remember to hit your taunt button after it is done cooling down as it will help very much, same goes with the hell scream and crushing blow. this combo usually works against all classes unless you are vsing a bear or fox try to get them with hell scream first then beckon.

  - If u use wand set, its for defense, if u use staff set, its for attack
  - If the opponent unfreeze the 1st froze, use the second just after lol

Bird

LvL50 Sentinel Bird:

• Items : sentinel shotgun set + dodging ring or Hate set + dodging ring still

• Tips :
  - Shotgun has long range! Use it to kite ur opponent! Morever, sentine lset gives good dodge! don't hesitate to put Evade at 6!
  - If you use hate, try to be close this time ! Be sure you have evade buff on to be sure to dodge some

Bears:

• Tip : If u use wand set, its for defense, if u use staff set, its for attack
  If the opponent unfreeze the 1st froze, use the second just after lol
  If you are half Dex, and have Nuri items, you could use Melodic crossbow Vs. birds and Str gear, it works very well. Staff is very awesome Vs. Str gear too.

  - When u don’t have mana shield, DON’T RUN LIKE CRAZY ON BIRDS! xD you will instantly die
  - When your vs a group/in a group + close, use icestrom FIRE lightning ! it will kill 2/3 most of the times
  - Don’t use mana shields before a fight, wait till your in range to put it on!

Mages STR

• Base points : 150 Str; Rest int
• Skills points : MAX all skills except revive 1, and frost 4
• Items : Crafted Orlok set + vanity items if u have
• Combo : might, vitality, frost drain fire light heal RUNNNnn (use mana shield when ur gonna die and icestorm when your close)
• Tips :
  - You're a tank! you can run in players without being scared to die directly!

• Items : full int angelic or full str angelic or mix of both
• Combo : might, vitality, fire drain icebite, fire light heal drain RUNNNnn (use mana shield when ur gonna die and icestorm when your close)
• Tips :
  - If you're using str angelic, you're a tank! you can run in players without being scared to die directly! (avoid dex birds tho lol)

  - Pull when ur sure there are at least 2 people close to you, if your reckon stomp hits, the guys pulled should be dead !
  - against dex birds, auto pull should be enough to kill them.. however do reckon stomp ^^

Bear LvL65-66 with bow!

• Combo : Rage, iron, evade, taunt, reckon, stomp, (they should be dead there) hellscream, crush (if he is close only), SmS, slashes, restore. If he is alive, (s)he must be a tank or extremely lucky ;o
• Tips :
  - Be close from a wall when u full the guy, like it he will be stuck on it and u will be able to use ur slashes
  - Pull when ur sure there are at least 2 ppl close to u, if ur reckon stomp hits, the guys pulled should be dead !
  - Against dex birds, auto pull should be enough to kill them.. however, do reckon stomp to be sure they r gonna die ^^.. if they dodge reckon, run till ur reckon is back
  - you should have good dodge with buffed dodged (taunt and evasion) plus with orlok helm/plate, you should dodge much, with good dps and good damage

  - if you wanna pvp 1-1, fights will take ages, especially vs str bears/ str mages.. dex birds should be hard to kill though, you need to heal when ur rooted to have an hope to win !

LvL 72-76 :


Birds

My Lvl 76 EXCLUSIVE Full dex combo for Birds! I did it

• Base points : Full Dex!
• Skills points : 9 blast, 5 avian 7 root 9 focus, 3 heal, 9 evasion, 7 break, 2 shatter, 9 repulse 9 blind 6 wallroot!
• Items : Phoenix swift set ! 10 Damage+2 dodge ring or any elite dragonned foundered ring >.>
• Combo : evasion focus break root shatter blast wall blind repulse heal and run
• Tips :
  - RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN and HIDEEE!!
  - Double root bears
  - Break mages mana shield, and repulse, run till your blast is back, and auto break shatter blind => death
  - Pray for dodging :P

Mages :

Bears :

My LvL75-76 combo for Bear! O.O (not tested, but should work)

• Base points : 157 str, rest dex
• Skills points : 9 rage, iron, taunt, Evasion, Hellscream, Beckon, stomp, 5 Crushing, 5 (6 for 76) SmS, 1 crippling
• Items : Savage scythe set!!! + [10 Damage+2 dodge ring] or any elite dragonned foundered ring lol
• Combo : Rage, iron, evade, taunt, beckon, stomp, (they should be dead there) hellscream, crush (if he is close only), SmS, slashes. If he is alive, (s)he must be a tank or extremely lucky ;o
• Tips :
  - Be close from a wall when u pull the guy, like it he will be stuck on it and u will be able to use ur slashes
  - Pull when your sure there are at least 2 people close to you, if your reckon stomps going to hits, the guys pulled should be dead !
  - against dex birds, auto pull should be enough to kill them.. however do reckon stomp ^^
