L40 Crafting questions

I've compared the stats on the Engineer L40 gear before and after crafting and it seems that the only thing that improves is Mana by 15 for each item. There are huge benefits to crafting L65 gear in PL but crafting any of these items don't seem worth it at all for 35k credits. Am I missing something here? And is there a set bonus if you have the entire set crafted? There has to be something big that I am missing or else I would just keep everything uncrafted and keep my credits for the next update.

Keep your creds, stats bonus aren't worth the 175k + materials to craft. The only reason is the look, so peeps like the set effect. Unless you got creds to burn I'd keep them.

+2 m/s is the bonus.

The only good thing about custom is the elite look, extra stat bonuus for each class, and FX.
The stat bonus is different for each class.
Operative gets a dps bonus, eng gets mana regen, and comm gets hp regen I think.
But yeah really not worth it if youre a big numbers person,
But it does make a considerable difference on the battlefield.

Good post, I'll probably just keep my credits for next update even if its 6 months away (DL release and PL update will be first). Crafting them all isn't worth it at this point.

Yeah you are probably better off saving money.
Lol my stash account has fluctuated so much since Voleria cap xD
Next cap I am hoping they'll give us a bit more bang for our credits,
And those will probably be around 250k to craft.
I can't wait they will be beast.

No way will they go from 35k to craft all the way up to 250k to craft. It would take forever to craft one item, it already takes forever LOL

35k times five is 175k.
