What really grinds my gears thread--venting thread

Ok, i'm tired of posting a thread that turns into crap, while someone else can post the same thing and receive more comments than mine received views!! Mainly focusing on traders market here, you'd think some items are more rare than a 55 obedience bow!! Yes i said 55!

Another thing is buying and selling stuff in PL...are you kidding me?? STS make an age requirement to play!! I'm tired of know it all 12 and 13 year olds mouthing, lowballing, booting for the simple fact you're 1 level under him, or overpricing things on purpose, ruining the game!! Wanna know why the PL market is going in the toilet faster than America's? Cuz of the players!! I just had a guy ask for 4 million gold for obedience bow and hat level 60, AFTER I offered him 450k for both, and he knew what they were worth...WTF IS THAT?!?

Another is beggars...OMG they're ssoooooo annoying in every town!! We need a report for begging button that immediatley mutes them fro 15 minutes! That'll teach them a lesson.

Last is scammers. I find these people somewhere between a cockroach and the white stuff that gathers on the edge of your mouth when you're really thirsty. If you can't make money in a normal fashion, quit the game you bum! They just run around, "My acc was hacked, give me sh*t." "I just got scammed out of all my money and items, so I deserve yours." Best one I saw was a guy saying someone was holding his account for ransom and would give it back for 20k...first of all 20k?!?! Really?? And this guy was wearing a veteran plate..so I called the noob scammer out in town, he quit talking after.

Ok since there can be no non-constructive threads on the forums I wanna make this one constuctive. I want you to post below what things in PL really make you mad, that should be looked into fixing, then others including my self will talk and help sort things out or give advice on fixing things. This isn't to flame other players personally so no names please, but more of a venting thread to let it out where others will listen, give you some advice, then move on. So post below if you have something that just really makes you angry, or i'll be angry!!! Lol

You have to remember, this is the internet. Ever read youtube comments? Lol. There will always be annoying people trolling, begging, and scamming behind there avatars. What I do is surround myself with cool, and mature (sometimes) people that I trust, and use the ignore feature like crazy.

Eh, beggars don't make me THAT mad. I just watch and laugh as the other people in town attack them with caustic comments, and then I usually have to end of defending the beggar because he ends up being spammed/cursed at.

Yeah, I hate scammers too... They are usually in balefort/forest haven because both towns are highly populated with newbys. The biggest reason I hate em, is because when I was a noob, this lv 36 (I though that was REALLY high) was standing in town saying "selling VERY rare bows" he sold me a lv 32 white "Ice King Bow" (after he reassured me I could use it because lv means "just how good the weapon is") for all my money (about 10k).

Also, PL's economy is inflating, not going down. The surprisingly high rate of inflation is due to many factors, such as high liquidation rates, old players with discontinued items returning, thus injecting more money into the system, players buying gold, etc. It's definitely not due to some kid overpricing his items.

Yes i found out kids are making prices higher on purpose. And they bragg and report us like crazy. If i have a friend waiting in dungeon and i kick a player, he comes crying to me and reported me. Like cmon i talked o some of the old friends i had when pl was just starting and the reason they left was because of the kids who cry and just start bs, im sorry i said that but thats what it is. Spamming should be taken care of, begging for money should also be takin care of. And maybe u gus should pre set prices like runescape does. Not to cheap but not to expensive. It is constructive, instead of several threads of people posting scammer alert, or a problem with others in PL, it's all in one thread. This isn't a hate thread, it's to let out all you're agitated about in PL, and allow others to agree with you, and/or offer advice.

Pl's economy is trash and most people know it, an item worth a ton of money might bring half that in CS and an item worth 300-400k may bring 1mil (saw this first hand last night). It's too shifty, the CS is constantly overpriced or moving around, mostly from new players who bought plat, bought money and think they can flip tons of items by inflating the price to sky-high, after buying at normal rates.

I saw a kid in town when I was talking to buy glyph items list his bow and hat in the CS for over 800k together. I talked to him and he said yes it is a noobish thing to do, and he got them for about 400k together, just wanted to make a lot of money and see if they'd sell. Of course the hat sold for 350k and the bow is still there for 525k but it's annoying people do this so much it has become commonplace.
