Leveling...down?

So everyone knows the feeling. You finally have your character at the exact level you want! That means you can stay at that level and pvp, farm, or what have you. But wait! It looks like if you level just 3 more levels up everything will be much better! So you level up 3 more times and!....it sucks. You regret ever leveling up and wish you could be where you were at before. But now it's too late. Your only options are to deal with it, level up even further, (if possible) or recreate your character.

How many people can relate to the above situation? I know I can. In fact I can relate a little too well...

So I came up with an idea. What if there was an option to level DOWN, rather than level up? I know it sounds odd but think about it. What is the harm? It would work just like leveling up only you would level down. Your xp meter decreases with every kill and eventually your level drops 1...2...3 or however many you need. Your last placed skill points and stats would get removed as you decline each level.

Finally! You don't have to remake your level 56 glyph mage! (ouch :\ that would suck)

@Elyseon oh gosh surely they wouldn't do that? I was thinking more like an option similar to "xp lock" where it would say like "reverse xp" or something.

Lose 1 xp at 66 & gain xp at 66 get a bunch of elite vanities
Then dev's cave in & make elite vanities stashable>=]

It's cool! I suggested a while ago a decrease-level-through-plat idea where you could pay x Plat to change your character's level but I like this idea more! This way, it would keep people playing to level their character and then to PvP.

Nope, because elite sets the vanities have level requirements :-) a 65 cant wear a 66 vanity and so on

If you say 50, why not make it 1?

I like the idea, but it will take a long time to "level down" if you are level 65 and you want to go down to 60. You are basically redoing what you just acomplished.

It would be much easier just to ask Sam to change your level.
