DotA thread. Period.

Seriously, I should be able to play non-noobishy after a week of not sleeping... figures that I had to fall in love with the one int char with no nukes and a puny if long disable (Furion the prophet)... Alliance ftw!

I by no means expect to be organizing matches on this thread, but we can easily burn through 30 pages just discussing character merits, matchups, counters, counter-counters, item sets (+20 pages), play style(s), and whether they simply look good. Cmon, this has to be by far more popular than dragonvale...

...also, anyone actually get into DotA 2?

DotA is currently simply a custom map for Warcraft 3 (frozen throne) that capitalizes on a 30-60 minute arena-fest between 6 player teams with uber-powered heroes, with the goal being destroying the other team's base. I'll get screenshots.

DotA 2 (in development, but giving out invitations to play on steam!!) is the same thing, ported onto its own program. droooool...

...So I played a game, screenshoting things, turns out screenshots are not working for some reason.
also, you can only see the above replays on a warcraft3 game...

So I have nothing to show prospecting players xD try youtube

but seriously, somebody has to know about dota here. this close to giving up on the gaming taste of this forum's community xD
