Default help understanding levels & quests

So for example the quest for the sherriff to find that graveyard person

If you click go to it takes you to that area.

Now i get confused at this point

    1. Can you walk to this area?
    2. After you kill all the enemies it says next level or return to towne. Whats this mean?

I got the basics but im getting stumped here thanks!

    I get that part

    But as an example

The forest with the beginning quest to find the graveyard person can you walk to his area or do you have to click go to?

Also when you clear an area whats the option for "go to next level" mean? Just to rephrase it

    Thanks

Every level can be accessed by walking into a magic portal somewhere in towne. If you happen to be on a quest, walking into the portal will automatically transport you into the level you need to be in to complete the quest (only if the quest is from the same campaign, so a portal in Fathom Crypts won't take you to a Forest Haven level) If you aren't on a quest (from the same campaign), then you'll end up on the first level.

Typically, there's 5 levels for each campaign, and different quests may require you to go to different areas. For example, if the quest called for killing Meathead, then the "Go To" will take you to the level that has the boss.

After defeating all the enemies, two options will appear as you already know. "Return to Towne" is self-explanatory, "Go to next level" means you'll progress through the campaign.
For example, "Forest Haven" is the name of a campaign/town. "1: Road to Forest Haven" is the name of the first level, "2: Unfair Trade" is the name of the second level, etc. You can check which campaign and level you're on by looking in the lower left corner.

If you continue to press "Go to Next Level," then eventually you will finish the whole campaign, and you should eventually find the NPC you're looking for.

Ah ok that explains it. Thanks a bunch!

So does each level have an objective or just to beat enemies for exp?

Eh, quests are the only objective, and they're optional. I just do them because I like to press the "Complete Quest" button heheh. After finishing a quest chain, you'll just have to beat up the enemies. Some people chose to farm only bosses (for rare drops), while others farm only mobs (for xp). You can always advance onto the next town/campaign.

What wind said ^_^ quests will sometimes give you unique items like black ice or mystery, however they mostly just give you something to do if your bored.
