best resolution and easy of pressing skills on tablet??

I have a huge question Im looking to find a tablet thats both great resolution, comparable to the ipad 2 or 3, as well as one that functions easily with pressing skills on the touchscreen, would I necessarily need one with a smaller screen like the smaller samsung galaxy tablet? also has anyone tried the new ipad 3 because it has the best resolution out right now, I heard some asus tablets might be nice but not sure, I tried a nextbook tablet with android and the resolution kinda sucked and was a little slow. let me know what you guys have used or have tried I am really interested in maybe the motorola xoom, samsung galaxy or ipad 2 or 3, do the larger screened tablets still function easily?

Android tablet: asus transformer prime. Don't touch anything that isn't a major brand. The vast majority of these cheap tablets run with MIPS processors and do not have any Google apps on them. Like the market.

I use a kindle fire, which runs on amazons custom version of android. You can root the kindle, and obtain access to normal android software, by flashing a CM7 ROM (2.3.7) or by flashing a CM9 ROM (ICS). Currently, if you play pocket legends on cm7, it will freeze and require a reboot. I have no clue why. As a work around, i play PL on the stock kindle software, as it works fine on there. Playing any 3d game is "impossible" on cm9 as the current and latest kernal does not allow graphic acceleration yet. This is currently being worked on.

Back to the topic, the kindle fire plays pl at a extremely solid framerate, that i personally have never seen drop. The 7" screen fits nicely in both of my hands. Turning the camera, reaching all the buttons, and moving your character is easily done on the kindle. I have never encountered a hardware issue with pl.

All in all, i would still suggest somethijg like a asus transformer or galaxy tab over the kindle fire any day.

Side note- there has only been one app/game that my kindle has a little trouble with, and that is Shadowgun. This game literally blew me away! The graphics are AMAZING, even without Nvidia's Tegra HD. Though, when you encouter a heavy battle, the framerate does dip by maybe 15FPS. This was running on the stock 1ghz proccessor. Ill see what effect overclocking to 1.3ghz has later tonight!

Specs- 7" screen, operates on amazons custom android software (unless rooted), utilizes the strength of a 1ghz PoweVR processor, has an irreplaceable 5gb sd card with 1.7gb of internal storage. From the day i got my kindle, i have never needed more space. Just sayin.
