The insane 26 nuke mage!!!

now in 26 all builds are 6 light builds which is good if you use it right xD. When i first came back to 26 i asked Zerious for help and he gave me a 6 fire build that i am here to show. I used to suck with it cuz i had bad hit but now im pretty good with it. No one uses this build anymore but it has its advantages!!! Thx cosmicxghost for making the swamp rat guide. it made me way better with this build. Its like the mini version of 35 swamp rat

PROS
-can insta kill in below 2 seconds
-high damage
CONS
-bad in mana shield fights unless used right (right by kiting...hard to do but i learned xD)

GEAR
-champion fine platinum band lv 20 ring
-ssc wand set (earth or crystal)
-25 toys can be used but all ur gear should be int for the extra regen

BUILD
-6 BOM
-4 BOV
-6 drain
-6 fire
-1 ice
-1 heal
-1 shield

NUKE
FOR BEARS
-buff, stay at 12m range, ice, fire, drain or drain, ice, fire then just slowly poke him with ur wand and he dead...
FOR BIRDS
-this might be ur hardest fight xD
-buff, shield, drain, ice, fire, repeat
FOR MAGES
-buff, stay at 12m, unleash nuke (drain, ice, fire) while moving back bcuz opponent will b running at u
FOR KITE MAGES
-buff, ice, heal, wait for ice, shield up, drain, ice, fire

SHIELD FIGHTS
-annoying
-try to stay pretty far and kite by using ice and fire
-when drain back unleash drain, ice, fire
-warning: shield fighting takes a long time to get good at it.

I feel like having 6 drain makes you rely on it too much.. you've pretty much lost if they dodge, kite, or you miss the drain.. I have had something similar, it killed, but if you messed up, that's it.. but kudos for putting your build out there. +1

I remember this build because zapoke gave it to me when i first started, sadly zap has moved on to 35. This build did very well for me, but i kinda changeed it a bit to 5drain and 5fire, just to get both buffs at 6, having 4 on your def buff realy leaves you wide open to a nuke. So you would have to stack some armor, but this is a nuke build. So DPS is needed.

idk y but everyone else's nuke does same damage to me even if i had 6 bov...
@king solomon: i think ive fought u in 26. My drain barely misses cuz of my insane hit. i also got 15 crit. and i can kill an enemy sometimes with just ice and fire

I'll answer this. You have the same crit rate as many other mages, but typically with the little bit of extra bit of skill points in fire and drain (the highest flat damage spells in a mage's spellpool), it increases base damage by a noticeable amount while increasing crit damage by a very significant amount. The reason for their seemingly "mirrored" damage, is because you have slightly lower armor, which means you take their damage with less resistance, whereas you output more damage, but they have more armor while their buff is up, so it nerfs your damage to them a bit.

Your build would surpass others in theory once the 10 second armor buff from BOV wears off because you have more skill points being used afterward. To clarify my explanation, here's an example:

mage 1:
points in attack spells, heal, BOM, and mana shield at level 26: 19
points in BOV: 6

mage 2:
points in attack spells, heal, BOM, and mana shield at level 26: 22
points in BOV: 3

So while in the beginning of the fight, mage 1 and mage 2 would be utilizing all 25 of their skill points, let's assume both mages survive the first set of combos until the BOV self-buff wears off. Now once this happens, both Mages still have one point of BOV being used for the 2 minute party buff, but any extra points invested in the skill have worn off since it only applies to the self-buff. mage 1 had 5 extra points invested, while mage 2 only had 2 extra points invested. So now the difference is between all the skills except 1 point is BOV.

mage 1 skill points used after BOV self-buff expires: 19+1
mage 2 skill points used after BOV self-buff expires: 22+1

after the BOM self-buff wears off (both at 6), mage 2 still has 3 more skill points being used than mage 1. Until the buffs cool down, mage 2 has the upper hand.

exactly but i can still kill with their BOV up and thx for the build zerious was really bad at it in beginning but i got pretty good

Forget fire and ice, me being a dex bird I can't touch a mage and all they need is a drain and auto, rarely do I dodge either.
