hello,
what I'm wondering is what happened to the android app shoot it? my phone has been rooted forever and I planned on getting that app at some point. but its gone . haven't found any good ones yet for taking screen shots.

Your rooted, so download a custom ROM. most, if not all, ROMS come with built in screenshot.
