It's kind of easy...just solo forest haven until level 10 and you'll be there.
Yup^ Some people also got kills from before when you could get kills on a twink with locked XP. Mine had about 5-7K before I leveled. I believe Protank's had quite a lot at level 10.

I'm not really sure what you mean by best, but if you want k/d bear is the easiest.
Back in the day you could lock and still gain kills and deaths...lovenus has a high kill bird l5

Had a mage at 50 with 500 kills xD. Lvled it to 55 with more kills now.
In the old days you were able to disable xp gain and keep racking up kills in the dungeons. So you could get to lbl 25, lock xp gain and just stay at fathom crypts forever and get 10s of thousands of kills. Its the only reason how low lvls have high kill count.
Its not possible to do this now because the devs has realised it made an unfair effect on the leaderboards and they have stopped kill count rising when xp is not gained. Same as you dont get kill count by going to a lower lvled dungeon.

My first bird had about 800 kills when i capped him at 50, but wow i was such a noob with him lol

i seen many high lvls with 0 kills because they just ask high lvls to lvl for them and leech, and also the lvl 10 with 2k kills, Back then u can disable xp gain and can still get kills, Now a days is a whole lot different
