May I just ask.....and I know how mundane this question seems...IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN THE AMOUNT OF GOLD YOU FARM IN SOLO/MULTI MISSIONS....AND I MEAN IF YOU FOR EXAMPLE PLAYED MULTI AND NO ONE ENTERED MISSION....JUST YOU....IS THE AMOUNT THE SAME AS A SOLO RUN?...GAAAWWDDD I HOPE THIS QUESTION MAKES SENSE.

It could be 30 gold for one monster, and for the next you could get like only 3 gold O.O

Generally, from my experience gold drop in multiplayer is the same as solo if no one joins your map.

Tips for maximizing profits:

• Leave no stone unturned: make sure to bash all the breakables in the map, while some look like scenery such as the garbage bags and newspaper stands, they can be broken and at times hide ghosts which may drop legendary items. Things like bodies and burning barrels also drop gold when interacted with.
• Patience is a virtue: these numbers are not based on speed runs, with the energy dynamic it is best to take your time. If enemies jump into the map from off-screen, make sure that all of them have appeared. You already spent your 3 energy to enter the map so make sure to clear it, plus the longer you spend inside the instance, the more energy you will have when you exit.
• Always be prepared: make sure to stock up on blood packs before you enter the 3D mission. There is nothing worse than not being able to complete a map because the boss was more than you could handle.
• Two is a couple, three is a crowd: all of these numbers are based on solo runs so if you want to make it a party, be ready to share your gold. However much gold is dropped during the run is divided evenly between all party members.

One tiny note about your final bullet point - it seems that gold is divided evenly only if you are within a certain proximity of each other. I believe I've seen that when the party is widely separated that the distant person doesn't get gold when the other person does. I'm not totally certain because I wasn't focused on that at the times when this was happening.

If you are seperated for a long distance the "party" becomes a pair of two running together or one running alone. Think of it as a party of people killing mobs and not studying far away from each other :P And no he is not wrong
