Easy to to your inventory and equip your helmet. (It has to be compatible with your character class)
"Still Retired but Casually Player Vs Player from Time to Time"
You will notice under the item description both a level requirement and a class requirement. These are either red or green. Green means you satisfied the requirement (i.e. level 10), red means you didn't. Both must be green in order to equip.
