Swim, they mean one weapon held in both hands as opposed to two weapons, one per hand.

Dual wield = using 2 one handed weapons (one in each hand)
2 handed weapons = one big weapon with an a** load of damage (and slow speed) in both hands
So dual wield is really 2 one handed weapons which classes them in with the one handed category i believe cause you only use one hand for each weapon.
