Should I max stomp or not

As a level 39 bear, I was just wondering if I should max stomp or not. I just paid for a respec and must decide whether to max it. It doesn't seem like the best way to use 6 points right now. If I put one point in, I still get the stun/pushback. The other 5 points only increase damage. My damage isn't that great anyways, and I am only looking to CC and tank. I figured it would be better to put those 5 points into CB or SMS or something that would help more often on bosses.

Have at least 3. 3 gives you an 8m range. at your level I would recommend you max rage, taunt, evade, iron blood, hell scream. That leaves you 8 extra points to do what you please. Have at lest 3 I'm stomp, like I said tho.

Edit: I forgot beckon. :/ 5 gives you a good amount for cc. I'm busy atm. You'll need to tweak the build I told you.

Tried and tested many times over. Its the only thing that is gained by going 3-4. Check Ellyidol's guides, pretty sure I got him to add it.

I've tried a few builds since I wrote this thread [10 levels later] and found that 5 beckon and 4 stomp is perfect, at least for my current skill level with tanking.

For using slashes, and crushing, you beter put 4 stomp, because it doesnt make the ennemy fly too far, and because 4+ stomp permits to unfreeze/ unroot

I would say that 4stomp is perfect ^^..

for pvp? or pve? pve: 4-6 stomp (6 for the stronger combo, and for soloing) pvp: 6 stomp (6beckon and 6 stomp are awesome in pvp)

At 10 maxed out stomped and at 2 the taunt. (tank style)
