A dark and dusty story
*warning- tldr*
A story I thought I'd share..
When I was new & knew no one, I ran into a familiar forum name, but it had "dark-" like a prefix in the name. Being familiar with Pokemon, I copied & made "darksuentous" for no real reason. *I eventually ran into a guy named Siejo, *while I was "dark". He changes into "darksiejo", we laugh, I ask- "who started this?" *He said, "I did" & invites me to the "dark guild" with some trixters.*for a while no one knew if they were the originals or some kind of joke, and there was some talk.
At the time you were able to write the tilde symbol ~ in chat & then it would appear as empty space in regular chat, we darks would mass in places and sometimes spam nothing " * " *repetitively, rarely interacting with others. If it appeared in a thread, or I was asked, I'd try to stoke the fire rather than not.
In time the nonchat " *" was fixed and the joke had mostly run its course, it faded into obscurity. I think all still play on their regulars, Hellafun when it happened, Respectively submitted to the history books. More stories some other time..
At least, I THINk we were all who we said we were. O.o
