Platinum Rewards - Has this ever been suggested?

Hello,

Was speaking to someone in game about platinum rewards. Platinum rewards are rewards you can get for buying platinum. A certain amount of platinum would get you an in game item.

Please note that this was not my original idea, someone told me to pass his idea on because he does not have a forum account.

The rewards we had in mind were helms, armour, weapons and shields.

For example, if you have brought a total of:

200 platinum - You might get a helm

400 platinum - You get a shield

600 platinum - You get a chestplate

800 platinum - You get a weapon

Please tell me what you think of the idea, and I will pass your feedback to the original idea maker!

I don't like it- 1. What if a person doesn't buy plat, then if these items were giving pvp bonuses reg dudes won't have fun. If plat dudes dominate, like u know the purple vanity helm that almost an unfair advantage.

Actually I totally support this idea if the rewards are for total plat spent. That would be better because the hackers won't get ta ya cuz its "spent". That would be a whole ton better.

I didn't think of it this way, great find! I think he meant that you get an optional additional reward based on the amount you have brought.

Or like Mile stones: 500 Plat Helm. 1k Plat Body 5k plat shield 10k plat pet 50k plat weapon. (Vanitys) and this is platinum spent!

I'm pretty sure you get a set bonus if yo wear COP, SOH, and MFA....which I don't have. Unfair advantage in pvp? No. This would balence out PvP a bit for those that don't go for max level

Sounds like a cool idea, however, where will the title go? It cannot go where the guild name is, perhaps after it?

@xionskull elite items might as well be plat items as eveyone use elixers to get them.

@kaytar dont most if not all endgame pvp hit lv66. I mean last 3 elite caps where all hit by pvp's 1st. I mean its 1 extra point in skills, 5 in stats, Elite vanity set bonus, and you need not do pve no more (till next cap) as you are max lv.

Only if it's vanities, phoenixking loves his vanities, my vanities can make any of my toons face a full inventory. More vanities plox.
