Why bows and not 2handers/

Just wondering why so many attack bears use bows instead of 2handers. I am level 48 and so far, the 2handers give me about the same skill damage as a comparable bow, but way better normal attack damage. So, in the long run, I do more damage. The only time I use my bow is if I'm soloing a boss and need to stay out of range of their attack. Otherwise, 2handers seem to be able to provide much better damage in the long run. Am I right to think this or do the bows get better later in the game/

The answer is in bold. Most bears that don't know how to tank effectively/correctly don't like to get hit so they hide in the back with a bow.

There aren't very many endgame bears who use 2H effectively, but if you'd like I could do some run with you so you can get a feel for how I do things.

Skill dmg might be similar, but crit is usually way higher, allowing you to deal much more dmg in the end. And of course, as mentioned already, range.

I actually really like 2 handers up until sewers. Gurgox Hammer is the last good one you'll find.
