Most discount events do end up improving Plat purchasing, but I do agree that DL merchandise is rather expensive compared to PL/SL, e.g. 8 Plat for skill respec. Then again there are a lot more mouths to feed at STS than before...

Thank God the packs were half off... I got annihilated, around 25 packs would of been around (600 platinum) before I got the electric headsman.
