I log in to the game to see yet again a new vanity bundle and I think to myself "man would I spend alot of time in game farming for this" and then I get sad because the in-game economy is ruined... Theres really no rare loot, nothing exciting really once you hit level 21...since I hit the cap I played about 3 hours in two weeks....You guys need to find alternatives to make players buy platinium and let them farm for the rare stuff.

I agree, im 10k almost 11k into 21 and really theres no reason to stay in game. I load up my missions and get off......nothin really else to do like in pl farmin for dragon armor for say.

You can also try to pvp at lvl 21 and get your *** kicked by some good pvp'ers ill bet it will take you some time to get good skills this will keep you busy untilled next lvl cap increase

You sir are wrong! I farm a lot of gold per day. Dislike posting the amount. If you knew how to merch you would have all vanities easily. I mean i made 300k+ gold in 2 days for the tournament price ....

Theres really nothing that makes me want to log on to dl. Pvp is just ok to me, and the only thing for hardcore players to do is unlock all achievements. Since I'm not really into achievements/quests in mmos, theres nothing for me to do since I capped. I have the best gear because I bought it with real money. :/

Until farmable gear out performs plat gear, I don't see myself playing much going forward. The game just feels like it's for the casual gamer with some extra cash to spend.

I don't like your attitude at all. That's like saying when something has potential but has some flaws you trash it and get a new one. Good luck in life with that. You need to accept the fact that some people can be unhappy about the game, if you think everything is fine and you enjoy it 100% then good for you.

I never said I was quitting the game, but you know what? That's exactly what's going to happen for me and lots of players. Not because I'm frustrated, not because I want to quit the game, just because there's nothing that keeps me coming back to this game, even if I spent nearly 200$ in platinium.

I'm just expressing my feelings about a part of the game that could be improved tremendously. This game has great mechanics, great graphics, all it needs is a viable economy, that's the only thing holding it back from becoming an excellent MMORPG. I want this game to succeed, I want this game to thrive, because I like it alot, but it's missing some core elements at the moment.

I just think that spacetime needs to listen to its customers more, and stop coming up with new platinium bundles and focus on more important aspects of the game, because in the long run, the core of the game and the replayability value is what will keep people paying to play, not the new platinium gear. This is not a doll fashion contest, this is a mmorpg.


Give me end game missions with very powerful bosses that have slim chances of dropping VERY rare items, make it so you have to cooperate with other vampires in order to succeed. Give me rare vanity drops that will make me log in everyday and spend a few hours in the hope that I could drop something rare.

Not looking for a fight here but
can you stop and consider that there are players who are fine with playing an expensive game with different mechanics? I don't want to play a Warcraft clone or a reskined PL (hint: SL), I want to play DL... I don't think DL is broken, actually I think DL offers more for those of us who are willing to blow real life cash on a game and that is great, it's my cash. Can you see how the several threads about the game being "broken" could be annoying to those of us who have been looking for a different MMORPG that include options to strut our Gucci pixels in a vain role playing exercise? Not every game has to follow the "rules" set by Warcraft, you know.
