A story game: The legend of brom dandy

This is basically a game where I start off a story, and you guys write a sentence to continue the story. Just please don't type any dumb things to ruin the story for everyone else. I'll start us off.

Long ago, in the land Land of Alterra lived a strong royal guard named Brom Dandy. He was madly in love with the Elf Queen. When he proposed to the Queen she declined. Brom went into a raging fury. He persuaded some of the queen's guards to work for him, for he said he would repay them with stacks of gold.

The queen's guards were to sneak into her bedroom at night and try to kidnap her.
