Level changing?

Ok so I'm not exactly sure what part of the forums to put this thread in or if it even belongs here, but I have a question. I talked with many friends who told me it was possible if I email sts but I tried emailing and got a rather odd response.

The question is this- Can I Change my level to a level below my current one? I wanted to level up and try higher level pvp and now I'm regretting it big time to the point that I may remake my character. (which would absolutely suck)

Like I said I emailed support and got an odd response. I don't remember their exact wording (I deleted the message :\ ) but I do know it said something like, "we try to please everyone but some problems can't be solved at this time."

As you can see I'm very confused about the whole situation. First I got friends saying its possible, then I get an odd response from my email. Can anyone help me out? I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I do know of one incident where a friend used 4x, almost got to level cap, decided it was a waste of his time and successfully requested for him to be downleveled completely to the previous level cap.
What it would be for you is a complete rollback of all EXP earned, POSSIBLY all items/loot gained as well as kills, deaths, etc.
Would be incredibly hard to do.

Judging by that reply, the answer is no.

I don't know how my friend asked, but he is now 4 levels below what he was before.

They've done it before for my friend.
But that was before Mount Fang.

If your reply was from Gnosis, he says no to everything. Try again until you get a dev who knows what they're doing. :P
A friend told me they leveled his toon that was 65 down to lv56, but I never saw said to on to actually confirm this.

Gnosis knows what he is doing. Have answered my emails many times and very well fixed my problems.

I had a friend who accidentally leveled to 52, he was 51 before,
Support rolled him back

I agree. I also only had good experiences with Gnosis, and he clearly knows what he's doing.

Gnosis helped me as well, I just messed up on something and some how accidently closed the request =.= .... I decided it wasn't meant to be and I didn't try again lol, point is gnosis is very helpful

I tried do the same a while back when my main bird was 62. I asked to be rolled back to 61 so I could stay a twinky-main. I was told that those services weren't available at that moment. I was sad. I never questioned it though. That is my experience at the time when MT Fang had about 1 week of being out.

I think you may be right, definitely no love from Gnosis.

They will rollback a maximum of one level. Requests for more may have been fulfilled in the past, but they won't do more than 1 level now..

I asked for my once level 52 to be downgraded to level 51 and they refused to do it. This was about 4 or 5 weeks ago also.

Perhaps be more careful in the future. If you want to try higher level, fork out some platinum and make a new character. Ask for a good friend to power level you and problems like this won't happen. Good luck with support.
