Helping New Players

I think PvP under L20 is the worst PvP you can play when you're new. There's all these immature people spamming swear words and people spamming "U rushed, not me

" when it isn't even true, you name it. If I were new these days when this low level PvP is so harsh I would quit immediately.

STS and I'm sure a lot of you want more players and skilled ones too. We also want to welcome these new players so they don't quit.

I've noticed people, selfish people, who rush just the new players looking like noobs. They do this for their own benefit so they can get their perfect kdr or more kills. I think this really hurts the new players and is not at all a way to welcome them.

So I decided to start helping them by advising them to level up first and get used to the game before PvP. I also attack back at those only rushing "noobs".

As we all know, it's very hard to defend 3 level 17 twinks rushing a new player when you're level 12. Or any scenario like that. Even a 1v1 with a 15 is hard sometimes.

To get to the point, I want to start something. Not a guild but just get some or a lot of players to help new players in PvP.

Maybe you can post your IGN or something on this thead to notify the new players who they could look for to get help.

Ways you could help:

A fun way is to put on some bad gear and get rushed. Then come back at them with good gear.

You could also advise new players, fight back with them, or try to convince the person being mean to the new player to stop.

There's a lot more ways you can help.

I don't like this, which is why I try to change it on SL. I'll be happy to help change it on PL, but I am new to pvp Twink in PL.

I can learn quickly, so I'm up for anything !

I will spectate most of the time. It's when I see the haters, the "bad" rushers, etc that I will unleash a firestorm

I almost quit pvp when I first tried. Maybe I'll make a low level toon again to help out. I tried pvp under level 17, and it's awful. I think it's where all the nerds that get bullied irl play.

Psychologically, people bully others Bc of their insecurities.. That means it doesn't have to be a "nerd".

I mean, do you really have to be a nerd to be good a video game? Lol

I always pictured cyber bullies as nerds irl. Maybe it's just me.

Lol sometimes they are.

I met some guy once (I guess a jock? Lol) and he totally called me a nerd Bc he couldn't kill me.. Then he said he'd totally kick my butt with his football buddies lmao xD.

They could but not anymore. But I guess anyone on your team could see it and tell them.

I am a rusher, but I fully support this movement. I personally only rush those that are well equipped/dressed or that are known pvpers.

I usually boot noob pvpers from my games if I'm hosting to save them the trouble, then catch up with them to explain. (Not sure if that's any better than watching them be slaughtered)

Remember, the more you educate the noob pvpers, the more worthy opponents you'll have down the line.

I always kill the people who rush new players haha

free kills for me, and better environment for the new players. Once I force the idiots into submission, I explain to them that twinks will nearly always kill them in pvp because they have awesome gear which the new players wouldn't be able to afford. Also tell them about how pvp works and how to avoid mostly being killed by these idiots.

Lol im lvl 66 now n still get slaughtered in pvp but im goin after.the big tough guys cause i like a challenge i find no fun in

ome hittimg one killing i jave 100+ kills to 400+ deaths i honestly could care less about the ones who spam noob n prey on the weak if ud explain stuff to a noob them he.wouldnt be a noob if they pull ouy the very firsy toon they ever made id bet.its kills/deaths looks just as.crappy as any other persons.first toon...every pro was a noob so if ur tired o noobs turn em pros get some actual competition ill still pvp n no matter how many times one person kills me ima just come back there is a respawn button+ its a game not.real life......a/w ima prollu start.a.twink later add either one my toons on my sig n ill be.glad to help with this but fyi im by far not.a pro......yet

the skill comes. First you gotta break the "oh, i'm rushing?" barrier. doing something you were once completely against can prove difficult at first.

how did i start rushing? I hung around Jop a lot.
