    Default The Guide~Funky Bear~Levels 51-53~Funkypawz

    ~Welcome to Noodleleg's guide to the funkiest of all bears!~

    There have been many requests for this guide, especially after the L50-L53 Tournament, which I won. So here, I present to you, the Funky Bear Guide!

    First off, why become a funky bear? Uhm... Because it's incredibly fun and takes lots of skills. Before pvping with this twink, I recommend practicing your range, tanking skills, and nuking skills. Funky bears need to be great tanks or nukists depending on the scenario. If you are low on cash, you might not want to pvp here. At this level, good gear is almost a must. At the moment, a good set of gear would cost you around the 1 million gold mark. This PVP level is when end game strategies start to appear. Now, let's get to the guide!

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    1.) Attribute Points:
    -Yes, I did more strength than needed... Doesn't matter though... Just have enough dexterity for Raid Roach's and enough strength for Fury Fighter's and Royal Sewer... I prefer to have more dexterity than strength, and so do many other "pros!"
    ~~~~~~~~~~

    2.) Gear:

    -This is going to be your tanking gear. If you want to nuke, use a Raid Roach's Recurve/Auto-Crossbow or a Sewer King's Gemstone Scarab. I don't need to post pictures of them, do I...? I prefer the pink blingy gemstone bows. If you run out of mana, switch to your tanking gear. fury Fighter's gives decent mana regen.

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    3.) Build:
    Classified Information...
    -Sorry, but I've told my build to like only 3 people and I want to keep it that way. This is the only PVP guide where I won't post my build... Sorry...
    ~~~~~~~~~~

    4.) Strategies:

    ----------

    For Birds:

    Words of advice:
    Birds are probably going to be the easiest opponents you will fight. Don't underestimate them though. A few are pretty good. Just make sure to avoid their roots and cruel blasts.

    Scenarios:

    >Here we have your pal, the tree. Trees are very useful for debuff traps. Try to trap the bird against the tree and debuff him/her.

    >In this case, we got a bird stunned. Try to be as close as possible with a bird. Wether you are using a bow or a sword on the bird.

    >Here's a bird trapped to the wall. Try to keep the bird there at all costs!

    ----------

    For Bears:

    Words of advice:
    Bears fights... Yes, they're probably going to be long unless you're using a bow. Bow bear vs bow bear fights last for like 5 seconds though. Against tank bears, you should use the late raging method. We'll get to that in a bit. In bear fights, the winner is determined if he/she lands the first: beckon, hellscream, crushing blow, or maybe stomp. These skills are very pivotal in bear vs bear fights.

    Scenarios:

    >In here, I'm a tank trying to chase down a bow bear. Remember, you have more dodge than the bow bear so, don't worry that much. Try to keep that bear close to you. Around 1m-3m.

    >In this case, we need to land our debuffs and run. If you land your debuffs, stomp and run back for a few seconds. Come back and nuke your debuffed opponent.

    >Again, first beckon usually wins. At 12m, no matter who you're fighting, land that beckon. If you miss, run back and hope the don't land their beckon.

    >When you encounter a bear vs bear situation, try to do the late raging method. Use your defensive buffs only at first. When both your defensive buffs run out, use rage and nuke. If you can, switch to a bow. Remember, gear switching is also very dangerous. I suggest practicing in PVE first.

    >I'm kiting a bear in this scenario. When I kite, it's usually on bears. If you want to learn how to be a kite bear, I suggest you go to my green ice kite bear guide. It has almost the same exact strategies I use here.

    ----------

    For Mages:

    Words of advice:
    Yes, that's right... I said, "MAAGGGEEEESSSSS!!!" Mages are very powerful at this level with their nukes. Be careful with them! They also kite... They usually are dex Mages and try to use bows on you. In all cases, debuff and stun are always hanndy when fighting Mages. I prefer to use bows on Mages. Tanking doesn't seem to work as well.

    Oh, and if you see a mage that looks like this and has that name, be extra careful............
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^

    Scenarios:

    >In this case, we can trap the Mage. They'll usually try to firestorm you so you can't get close to them. At all costs, try to stay close. 1m-3m should work. This is a good time to run up a bit and do crushing blow. Some stubborn Mages think they perfectly time their mana shield. That's when you can nuke instead of go debuffing defensively. Those arrogant mages don't know how strong a bow bear's nuke is. If you used beckon and hellscream on the Mage and he/she didn't use mana shield yet, do stomp and super mega slash right away. It should kill them if they didn't activate mana shield.

    >Try to keep close!

    >If you miss beckon or the Mage dodges it, run. Without beckon, a bear will die easily. Run until you can restart the nuke.

    >You will face many, many kite mages... They have Raid Roach's Auto-Crossbows. Kite mages like to kite you with auto attack and out of nowhere, pop a mana shield and run to 8m. This is when they start their nukes. Keep your eye open for their move. When you see them move a bit, and in place for 12m, use beckon, hellscream, crushing blow, crippling slash, super mega slash, vengeful slash, (wait for a few seconds), beckon, stomp, taunt. You want to keep the Mage as close as possible until you're ready to finish them. When I start seeing damage done to health instead of
    mana shield, I do beckon and stomp to finish them off.

    >Do the same thing with int weapon mages. Just keep in mind they have better mana regen. Always keep these guys close to you until the fight is over. If you stomp, run to the direction you stomped.

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    5.) Things to practice:
    -Learn to time your crushing blow so that you can still use it when beckon is still pulling your opponent.
    -Learn to nuke.
    -Learn to tank.
    -Learn range of course.
    -Learn to corner.
    -Learn to run.....
    ~~~~~~~~~~

    6.) Combos:

    These are just overall combos. You can change them up a bit in different scenarios.

    Tanks:
    -Buff
    -Beckon
    -Hellscream
    -Crippling Slash
    -Crushing Blow
    -Taunt
    -Super Mega Slash
    -Vengeful Slash
    ~Wait for a few seconds~
    -Beckon
    -Hellscream
    -Taunt

    Nukists:
    -Buff
    -Beckon
    -Hellscream
    -Crusing blow
    -Crippling Slash
    ~Circle around enemy for a few seconds~
    -Stomp
    -Super Mega Slash
    -Taunt

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    -Remember, just by reading a guide doesn't mean you can be the best bear out there. It takes much much practice and many great friends. I hope I helped out! I hope to see many more Funky Bears out there!
    ~~~~~~~~~~

    Many thanks to:

    And to all those who helped me!

    Sorry I couldn't fit and find everybody!

    If practice makes perfect and perfection is impossible, why practice?
    Oh, wait... No need to practice. iHax.
