Not greedy is nice, but it sucks when he doesn't get full value. I'll feel bad for him when later on he doesn't have enough gold to buy what he wants. But hey, its all up to him. Maybe he was just lookin' for a quick sale.

The amount of crying that would happen if STS suddenly changed the sets from the 3 they announced would flood the forums, seep into the game and we would be playing a salty "waterworld" version of PL.

Those 3 can still be sets, but nobody ever said that bow would be part of any set. That's all you're getting out of me....

Lol, dude. The way you are talking it sounds like you have an inside track to STS development! And I want to believe you!

But it would make zero sense for the bow, the KEY weapon for birds in basically all expansions of PL, to not be apart of a set. It would be hilarious if there were only set bonuses for dagger/shield and 2 handed weapons. I'd cry for my bird and laugh for my bear and mage.

You are correct. You're missing a major possibility, and I'm not going to tell you what it is at this time. And for the record, I do NOT have any inside information. I'm just clever. Obviously I'm going to use my cleverness (if there is such a word) to profit as would anyone. Once I've made all my required purchases I will post my information here and let the prices in the CS go wild -- assuming the update has not happened by then of course.

I need another day or two at the most to farm for some gold and make my purchases. Too bad I'm not one of these wealthy merchants or else I would make a killing here.

Those are some big claims, sir. You have my interest peaked, not because I want to cash in on this special circumstance that only you have deduced since you are so clever, but because I would be genuinely impressed if you really figured something out with the new gear and was able to cash in on it whereas the multitude of other people who play this game and think about the gear in this game everyday missed it completely.

I'll give you a million gold if when you throw out the big reveal, it was all true and you expertly deduced this amazing thing that everyone missed --- something associated with the set bonuses and the bow not being apart of the final set. OR now that I've (at least verbally) put up a million gold. Why don't you PM me what you think will happen and I'll invest a million gold into your idea if I think its legit. You can keep all the earnings. You just need to refund me the million gold. That way, you can execute your plan immediately and I get a front row seat to whether or not you are a genius merchant who can read the so-called "tea leaves" on what will happen with the sets and gear.

I would certainly take you up on this, but I'm not sure how I could trust that you would do what you say. For now I'm just about out of gold, so I'm farming plasma pyramid to gain gold, and hoping to put together another 200k within the next couple of days to buy a few cheaper priced items that I believe will go up in price after the update.
