He hasn't done anything wrong, but obviously he's trying to impersonate an STS staff member, otherwise there is no reason to have that name. I'm pretty sure if STS was made aware they would not punish him but simply make him choose another name.

Well, the armor is gone now. I think they are worth that now. You might not be willing to pay it but the dragon armors are rare enough to command basically gold cap again, and they there is enough new content/gear that no one will go back and farm them for quite a while.
