random friend requests annoy me too. Just showing up in town doesn't warrant me wanting to be your friend.

And then you end up getting invited by these random "friends" to games in low level dungeons just because they like to call everyone and their dog to come help them beat a Lvl 10 boss.

You can turn off reqest in the menu.

What amazes me is when your in the process of joining a towne and before its even loaded someone has managed to friend request me.

Ummm keep every single friend request you get and you won't get as many notices, but you will still get the PM's.. I think everyone does.

No need to be rude about it. I mean, someone is admiring you and you shut the down disrespectfully when all they wanted to do was praise you.


Next time just say "thanks" and politely decline their friend request, it's what I do.

Yeah.
What I do is just pretend I didn't get the request and be AFK. When the person says add me, I continue to stand there.
All quiet and silent.
I believe it is sometimes best to say nothing.
