rumours, cant blv they spread after every update, im still using my flamethrower, and getting good xp (in the runs I dont leave in disgust when they go "no flaemthrowers plz") or maybe the two updates cancelled each other out in terms of xp

Exactly, but now they reversed it and cut it in half.
Flamethrowers now give XP for burning eggs, but only .5xp per egg.
Reg. guns don't give any XP for it..
major reason ppl were running, keep the levels up STS even after the event goes down
