Guild 1v1 Match Idea

Hey guys! Bud here!

I was trying to think of a cool way to host a tournament! Large Ctf games are fun but it's very hard to get everyone together! 1v1s are an option but they don't have the guild rivals show down and team play that teams do.
So I was thinking...

If anyone has played competetive team golf it is very similar to that.

We have 7 people from each guild. The guild master takes the 1 seed and then ranks everyone else.
Now that everyone has a number/rank you would 1v1 against the same rank as your opponent.
So... Guild master fights guild master, rank 2 fights rank 2... Etc in a 1v1 match.
Each match is worth one point. Whichever team gets the most points wins that round and advances!

This will be easier to get matches played but still give you the feeling of a team game! If bud is fighting a Mage in his match, his friend buddy would help him out! You still have the fun and competitive drive from a team game but the simplicity of getting matches together!

I think that would work. Reminds me of steal the bacon in a way.

Any two twinking/endgame guilds where most of the players are in the level range could go at each other using this.
