Oh, that is so much BS. I saved up all my gold for a week and spent 1m on an OBD last night, and now they are going to give them out for an easy quest? Very upset...

Ok, I figured out how it works, and my guess is that Ocean Blue Diamonds will drop in price, but not as much as you may think. The reason is that the quest takes a very very long time....probably on the order of 10-20 hours of gaming.

Here's how it works:

If you speak to Trader Joan at Lost Villas, she hands out 2 quests. One is for a gem (which is also used in crafting) and the other is for the Ocean Blue Diamond...

The quest for a gem requires you to kill 100 bad guys, a feat that can be accomplished in 10-15 minutes, maybe less if you have a nice group on elixers.

I spent about 20 minutes there and got to 100 and got my gem. Now once in a while (it happend a single time in the 20 minutes I was there) a boss called Fugee (I think it was spelled this way) spawns. When you kill him you get 1 (yes, only 1) furgee ball. You need 50. So do the math. I'm guessing 2-3 per hour can be had. It's going to take a long time. But now all of you who complained you get no diamonds, now you have a 100% chance if you put in the time and work hard.

It's kind of like the cyber quests. I guess they took the suggestions from the other thread. This doesn't actually bother me as I think it's so difficult to do that the price will still stay relatively high. I think you actually may have a better chance of getting a diamond if you just farm the regular boards for 10-20 hours. But I guess there are no guarantees that way.

NO way the OBD stays at 1.2M in price with people farming furgees, even if it takes time, since XP is given out there at the same time.

Also, it may be a daily or three day quest so people will be going back time and time again to farm the area when they have free time.

Yeah. From the early indications, it seems like questing for the diamonds is a long process, so think of it as paying extra for the convenience of not having spend hours on the quest. Besides, you had to know that the diamonds wouldn't be selling for 1m+ forever, right? Anytime you invest in an item that's brand new, it's a huge risk.

I just found out you can kill Boo Gee in the first map or monsters bash & you get credit for a kill. Wherever you can kill Boo Gee I suppose.

Try standin the middle in villas and just pull on with bear when they respawn

Like have evertone on campfire and a bear running aroun pulling mmobs that are further out easier an more then all just standin middpe an waiting..i was happ when i got 1/50 lol
