Imagine if PL was first person.

I just had the idea while reading a thread on zooming; what if PL could have a first person camera angle. What would you think the upsides and downsides would be? I think it'd be pretty cool!

I like the mode it's in right now. It's the view I've played it in for almost two years.

Upsides: none for me

Downsides: I'd probably quit unless it was just an option instead of mandatory viewing.

I'm not a fan of first person except Minecraft.

It'd be awkward at first, but with a little practice, birds will start trying to headshot everything lol. I did always think what would happen if PL was on a console though.

Well we might see PL on the new Ouya (I think that's the name), the new console that runs Android software.

You would have to do a lot of turning in PvP, and distances would get screwed up.
Also using Beckon on a bear and having fat yetis fly at you would be pretty scary on a first person view game.

You would be one-hit killed by a Humanian Yeti that stalks you from behind. Imagine walking around, looking at the ocean, screen turns red for a moment and then you are face deep in sand.

In all seriousness, it would be cool to replay lower level maps at a first person perspective. I'm sure it would feel very different, and probably be much more challenging than the birds eye view.

especially on 3d devices so bears can literally punch your face out an mages can cause permanent damage to your eyes and we all know everyone likes arrows coming at their eyes
