How to kill a mage? (lv 10-15)

Hi,
I was wondering for my dex bear how to kill a mage at lv 10-15. They mostly kite and spam ice - fire - drain - lightning - heal.
Do you guys know what the best wep to kill a mage is at lv 12 and under? I tried duckfoot and talon and they dont do that well.
I heard Xbow works but haven't tried yet thanks!

-Anything that freezes, or a crossbow.

-Save your stomp for when the mage gets close for either a lightning, or simply accidentally gets close. If no such opportunity presents itself to you, use stomp to get out of the freeze. (I think that only works with 4+ stomp though.)

-Try starting the match at an angle where it will take the shortest time to direct and stomp the mage towards a wall where he/she can no longer kite.

-Pray for crits.

No, never.
The only way you'll be able to get out of Frostbite, is either giving them time to heal by kiting out their frostbite (essentially running very far away) and rushing in to wall pin, or stomping out.

That hardly ever works, unless you feel you can pin with the next stomp, or you have low health and you want to run. And even then, it's still hard to pull off, and also a waste of time and energy.

The way mage's beat bears is they keep em at bay with firestorm and ice till the bears rage runs out and then go in for the kill. So I basically flip it and hold off on rage till I can trap em. It really pesses em off though, so get ready to be yelled at like crazy

I tried snowball bear and utterly failed. I found that snowball bird (with a root) will own mages 9/10 times. Sure bears will own your face, but beating mages as a bird 9/10 times Is so satisfying

Sbl or ducks r good for freezing mages so they can't run, then u go in for a combo. I either use a sbl or I use a defensive set against them (artisans,defense ring,...) and hope to tank enough to hopefully stun them with stomp, then use crippling slash on them and then hopefully I still have rage to auto and keep slashing them. Those r my preferred ways of fighting mages that lvl.

It is totally your call! It is basically personal preference when it comes to this. Being a bear advocate, here's my tips:
Learn how to time your stomps so u can get out of the ice ASAP! You will notice a delay from when ice seems to hit and when it actually does. I usually hit my stomp skill when the ice appears to hit me. Then I am out instantly and ice doesn't affect me!
Kiting is a very useful (but challenging) thing to do! The crossbow has a 13m range which means it is possible for you to kite the frostbite but check out my tip above, it's a lot easier!
As for play style, I'd use a crossbow and charge straight at them! The trick is the stomp out of ice I told u about above! If u can constantly shoot crossbow bolts into the Mage they don't stand a chance!

I like high stomp and sbl when fighting mages. Run to the mage and stomp ASAP, combo called "shatter" should kill a mage, if not, just stomp and try to get close enough for slashes. (also use auto all the time...)

Xbow/snowball plus stomp and sms = stun. If u dont hit the combo then pray

Well, if your a bird, it's a LOT diffrent... Root, they heal to get out, wasted a heal, combo, = Dead Mage :-)

Best way to kill a mage is stay behind a tree with a duckfoot/launcher and wait for them to get close then rage and do your thing.
