Unable To Join Certain Games

When I go to the Sector Map, I get a message saying "The selected game is currently not allowing players to join" any time I try to join a game over halfway completed (accroding to the progress bar). It is always this message, regardless of the game's population. I have no problems when joining games less than halfway done.

oh, is that it. I wasn't unable to find the cause of it. Leaving a map to get my eng and unable to rejoin that same map. Even can't help out guild members

Okay.. this has been occurring to me a lot lately.

So i discovered that When you leave a map, Magical Bugs set in, and you cannot join back with any of your toons that is in that account.

This may happen in PvE or PvP.

It's possible they did it on purpose to stop people getting 10-20 bosses and pink chances per miners luck by switching toons or joining 99% completed games.

A dev could answer that if it is unintentional and a glitch/bug

I doubt the devs would do that at this height. if they did, so many people would complain. I think its a glitch, i hope its a glitch that gets fixed today or tomorrow.

I did consider the possibility that this was done on purpose, but it seems unlikely, since it causes more harm than good.

For example, there could be a group of four or five players halfway through a difficult level, if some of the players get disconnected or leave for other reasons, the remaining players would be forced to continue on alone. On low level bosses like Guardian and Director Bot, they may not be able to finish the level, especially if their engineer left for some reason.

I do hope this is a bug, and that is is fixed soon.

this is so annoying , guild members asking for help and i cant even join their games

I was forced to fight the last boss with two others in a guild run while the other two were trying to get back in. Even guild members that weren't in the run couldn't join.

Yeahhh the end of season farming is over i guess more player not be able to buy enchancer and they like to switch alt coz is save enchancer therefore dev n geng sts return back the previous screen all player will be happy inculding me,because when we run to dungeon 5 player inside to play suddenly other 3 log out or dc and we going to finish n trying to kill boss but you know if 2 or 3 player cannot kill the boss and need help our friends cannot get in to help so this thing sts must look on this matter, please change the program

Coz ppl can clear a map, but cant handle a (mini)boss. We get many requests in guild to help out, if it were only with miner.

And why would u dont want to join a game which isnt finished? Doesnt seem logic to me denying acces to some legit game time. Many proceed to next map anyway, there loss if they are too late, being late isnt a crime.
It breaks the game.

O sam... Sam sam sam sam sam sam... Ppl r farmers n need to join games almost over for loot. + ppl may need the help. Miner r expensive n we'll need this but u killed it. Shamefull. -.-

To answer your question, many reasons, but first and foremost 51% is not "mostly over".
People want to join a game late because:

They were there but got disconnected.

Xp grinders joined, picked up the bulk of the xp then abandoned the map leaving one or two people that want to finish the map that can't because nobody else can join.

People can't hang for whatever reason and leave the instance, again it kills the game run of that instance.

People want to join pugs late to maximize a miners enhancer

People want to join late to help their friends when they find they have bitten off more than they can chew.

people sometimes want to fight a boss and not fight a bunch of no xp giving mobs. Sometimes just the boss is a quick bit of fun.


My ideas to correct are not the solution. This whole thing of blocking late joiners is a negative that needs to be changed back the way it was. Tearacan is right.

To me the explanation of the problem that is being addressed of late joiners doesn't make sense.
there are locks and boots, there is a status bar on the game selection menu to see the progress of a game.

Content is king. raise the cap and people will buy xp enhancers again.
If people are grinding there are less people farming (i.e less people on the lower maps joining late.)
