I'll chime in and just say that I don't care if they come out with new and better gear than older stuff. That's ok and simply changes the economics and keeps things "interesting".
What I do have a problem with is the best gear costing pennies and everyone having it. I'm still not even sure how everyone enjoyed playing when Alien Oasis was the cap. My goal as a player is to accumulate the best gear. Once I do that, i will grow bored and probably stop playing until new and better gear comes out, and so on. Right now after much hard work I have leveled to 71 and have the crafted sand walker set. And now I am working on saving for a dragon armor/helm set.
If suddenly a new vanity set that was better came out and cost 50k, I'd probably buy it, and then take off the next 2 months until the next expansion came out and I had some new and better gear to work for. So my problem is not that this gear is better, my problem is that it is both better and common. If they are going to have new gear that is best in game, make it rare and hard to get like dragon gear.
I'm just thankful that my sand walker set is still the best strength gear. But I feel bad for birds that had the sand skipper set with the phantom bow, because this new lvl71 pink bow is better.
Apollo the intro of these weps is not a gold sink in any way or form.
Any person who have played a real MMO can agree with me that it is merely a transaction of wealth from one player to another. If anything it's creating more gold.
If anything, this update has made gold useless. Why do people need to farm and save weeks for a set when they can do a 10minute run, get a forgotten drop, and be as strong as ever other person of their level.
Apart from crafting this game essentially has NO gold sinks. There is no such thing as a level 99 skill (such as crafting) where you need to spend hundred of millions to get.
Can I ask your honest opinion on this weapons situation gundamsone ?
I know for a fact you have a large collection of very rare and disireable items, so I wonder your thoughts.

Lower level Winter items were inflated prior to this update but ONLY because they were USEful in PVP. There were no farm-able counterparts to those weps.
People are currently panic selling, I was selling pink ducks for just under 300k in cs a few days ago and now I see some posted for 170k. This is expected.
But down the road, the winter items should be back to where it was and even higher but unless these weapons are nerfed (which I believe it should) they will only be valued as collectibles and items used in costume sets.
BUT HONESTLY STS NERF THESE. Don't ruin your own game. If this is a marketing scheme to rack in more plat buyers then I think it is the wrong way of doing it. Tbh you might be even losing plat sales as there's less need for damage elixirs now with these OP weapons. Dunno about you but I don't like to play easy games and go around 2 shooting people in pvp.
Edit: O and you have just made low level armors and defence obsolete. Having 20 30 or 40 armor does not matter anymore if you're facing people who are 150+ damage unbuffed.

I find this all hilarious considering the level 10 PVP contest was won by Buddyf tearing up us SBL wielders with a grey bling flinger. Do you think he is complaining right now? He is probably doing what you should be doing which is find a way to beat these!

The way he PvP is so frustrating and pro skillzzzz that I would rage every time I fought him if we weren't buds.
He practically just runs at you till you're in stomp range, then either stomps you fast before you can stomp him, or just runs backwards to make you miss then stomps. GRRRRRRRR.
