Occasionally this happens when switching on and off keyboard. Not exactly sure what triggers it, but this has happened to me several times. I am running SL on an iPhone 4s.

Star Legends: Decay- Level 46 Operative
Pocket Legends: Prestige- Level 53 Bird
My keyboard gets stuck all the time. Stuck down and stuck up. My fix is to lock the screen then unlock. The keyboard pops back up or down. It seems to happen when the phones memory is low. I would suggest clearing your memory or closing any unused multitasking apps before you play. This buys me alot of time before it buggs out again.
I am running android 3.2 but I think the issue is with low memory on both devices. I would have to do more tests on ios to see if its caused by the same problem.

I have 32 GB of memory and only used around half of that? This is an iPhone though

Both of mine does it too sometimes. For me I gotta remember to close the keyboard after you pull it up before changing screens (player screens, auction terminal etc.) I usually have to tap the chat box and type something quick and then the enter key to clear the keyboard from the screen.
I have a habit of wanting to type something then changing my mind and deleting but just x'ing out, and the keyboard stays up every time. Annoying, but for me I type one letter, then press enter and it clears.

If you are on iOS, then the RAM can't be the problem!
If its on Android, then idk what could be the problem..

Well this issue comes about for me when i hit over 600 Mb of ram used, out of 724 Mb. When i click "clear memory" about 20 or so background applications are closed,
thus clearing up any issues i have with SL. My ipod has the same issue with the keyboard at times and closing any background apps seemed to help me.
As for my tablet(android 3.2 )...SL seems to have a huge memory leak on my device...As for my ipod...i cant clear the ram because i dont have a "task manager" or any way to see the ram. Only the running apps when you double click the home button. But like i said closing any backgroud devices helped for me.
I have had this issue since voleria came out so im not sure if its low memory or my processor...

It happens to me on my iPad when I type a word & it auto-corrects it, then it gets stuck automatically.
