Not a mage but this is what I would recommend.

Mobs:
Any base

H sabra(haste does the job so well)/H garlic(if lack crit chance)

H pere(more haste+ms and dmg)

Boss:
Arc sap

Phoenix/Frostbitten(Boss damage+crit damage)

H sabra(boss damage+crit damage)

Gold loot:
Any base

Arc pupper

Hero tadthep(gl) or H sabra(more damage)
