EDIT: Oh!! I don't remember where but it is true, the more people in the game the less likely you are to get a pink, but this does not affect your chances on vanities!

It actually doesn't decrease your chance at getting one, but there are more people in the group meaning someone else might get a pink and not you.

Other peoples drops don't affect yours. Everyone has seperate rolls, the game doesn't pick someone out of the party to get a pink.

If the more people in a party the less loot dropped than the whole concept of running in dungeons as a group would be defeated. It is unlikely that what you're saying is true.
