This sucks for me I guess I dont have any of the elite lvl cap items because I get to lets say 70 and get bored and PvP so to get a ring I will have to get to 76 before I can get the ring is that correct?

I have a few comments/questions, along with some pros vs cons that I see with this change.
As of right now anyone with the elite vanities can equip them for an "Elite Vanity Bonus" (+1 crit, +5 dodge, +55 HP, +15 Armor)
Also while gaining the this "Elite Vanity Bonus" that same character is capable of equipping a vanity ring of varying stats, one of my favorite rings on bear is "Fine steel ring of Technique" (+1% dodge,+2 H/S , +5 armor)
Side bar about the rings I have over 30 rings spread over my 16 toons and find that in PVP where one ring isnt that effective against specific builds another ring is. With the loss of this ring slot not only will we be losing stats but we will be more generic in builds at end game creating, IMO a bigger issue then looking the same!
So in reality, I am able to attain a bonus of (+1 crit, +6 dodge, +55 HP,+2 H/S, +20 Armor)
With this change occurring the only stat increase im seeing that is different from the "Elite Vanity Bonus" is the additional +3 to Str, Int, Dex. which in my opinion is COOL but doesn't seem to make up for the loss of the additional ring stats??
Questions:
1) Am I not adding this right?
2) Will we be given an additional ring slot so we are able to equip multiple rings?? (after all we do have more then one finger)
3) What will happen to all the rings we have spent "REAL MONEY" on?
PROS
-Wont all look alike
-Can wear what ever vanity we want
-ALL players now have a chance for ELITE VANITY BONUS!!
CONS
-Will lose stats
-Wasted money on rings that cannot be used on these toons any longer
-Character builds will become more generic at end game then they already are

I think that this is hinting toward a decidedly DL-like focus on vanity items.
Are you still going to be supporting multiple set bonuses like in the Humania cap?
I love that my mage had the option of an offensive set, a defensive set and a crafted variant for both as well - hopefully that will continue in this expansion.

So...I have MF armor, and Monarch helm..if i get the new shield can i get the best ring? And btw, If i get the first ring with the MF armor and Monarch helm...will I be able to exchange the ring for the better one once i get the shield?

i think not, since theres only one ring section in your inventory, i doubt they will add a second section

@Tank - I understand where you are coming from bro, but doesn't seem a little too much? We all have purchased tons of rings and I think STS is doing what they can to appease all. At some point, we are going to have to take a loss somewhere. And who knows what the future will bring. Just my two plat...

question: will these ring use up the ring slot? was just wondering since these vanity rings are combinations of chosen vanities, will there be a creation of a vanity ring in the vanities tab? otherwise, end game toons will probably have little to no use of the rings that were previously bought.
