Change to Pocket Legends Elite Vanity Item Set Bonuses – Introducing Legendary Rings

I wasn't complaining...lol.. so, no need to rage. It was nothing more than an observation that I believe has some serious effects on not only the economy but a neglected endgame PVP aswell.

I was pretty sure that techno said old elite vanity bonuses aren't going away. So this patch only applies to the future vanities? then it doesnt solve anything.

may I ask how taking away the ability to stack plat ring with elite vanity, but at the same time making elite bonus stack-able with dragon sets is keeping level playing fields? Or will dragon sets be losing there stats aswell?

Something will likely have to give with the Dragon sets too.

The "that op get-to-the-cap-in-4-days shield" isn't really OP. It's just a fun, weird item. When I get a chance to set up the black dragon vanity turn-ins, I'll probably make one for this too. But, for now, I made it stat'd and made it contribute to all the two-handed (defensive) itemset bonuses. You'll already be getting the Eye of Eternity vanity offhand, so I figured it would more fun to get a stat'd offhand for the bonus elite level cap item...if you're TOTALLY LOCO AND PLAY LIKE CRAZY THIS WEEKEND!!!!

A little clarity on whether the item will keep its stats or not will most probably avoid heated discussions if you ever decide to remove the stats in the future.

All elite vanities will lose their bonus and as long as you have any 2 or 3 elite vanities, then you can get the elite ring.

If I spent all that plat to get a dragon pet for no other reason than the stats, and it gets taken away, I don't think I will ever buy another vanity item again for plat. Just saying....

Seems you can no longer make long term decisions when spending in pocket legends these days. You just have to get what you think is good for the short term. And if that be the case, then fine, but I would certainly not spend real money in the game if it wasn't for long term benefit of my toon. Plenty of in-game gold purchased items would suffice.

I doubt we'd just rip the set bonus off the dragon sets. That seems rather rash and disrespectful to our players and the game's economy. But, finding something like what we've done with the elite vanities is probably a course to look at. I don't have the task of doing that, so I can't really say what, when or if it would take shape. Just saying that ideally, something would change so that there are not significant stats tied to vanities.

I don't see how changing the bonuses to a ring helped. Anyone with the full set can just get the stats back immediately. Even better stats? (I don't know the current stats).

You should be more afraid of the Dragon vanities being stacked with ring of glory...... bad news for endgamers that dont own dragon set
