They are used during this winter event to craft massive ice chests
Ye but now all the elder locks [massive or normal] are kinda meaningless , no value coz they been made so common for this event , essentially it’s just the recipe that has value this time.

+1 I'd like to see more recipes in other events that use elder crates (both massive and normal) as materials.
There's very few events where this is an option since most tend to have their own custom crates.
