You right I don't see any too in auction house , but I can't confirm that they not exist

That's a bit unfair I'd say. We should be able to open locked crates with crate keys no matter where they are located, that includes store too.

Usually from what I remember keys should be used to open chests till you got a amount not enough to open, and the message telling you to use platinum ,because the keys it's supposed to be the alternative platinum currency.

And from the time I see the post till now , your question to devs :Can we use keys instead of plats?
Needs to change to : why we can't open vendors chests with keys?

The locked crate is generally instant open and in the store, but we've been trying out putting it in the vendor instead this event. I'll add the non-class-specific crate for Crate Keys to the Lovecrafting Vendor.
