how does the lb points work when tier pts get reset

I have some lb runners asking what happened to their points when lb still reflects their points but the tier count reset at top of the screen

Does lb board become the only way for them to accurately track lb points/placement?

And what of us turtles that thought we had 2 weeks to make plat tier :/?

ah well during the announcement post they stated tiers would reset weekly but not lb
